Paints a picture of sadness and self reflection, then slowly coming to accept yourself as something that is not human, something that has been denigrated and deteriorated beyond recognition, to the point that you don't even recognize yourself. It then comes to acceptance of it, and moving on from it in peace. Amazing song, amazing writing and mastering.

I can’t believe it took me almost half a year to find this song. This is… beyond phenomenal. It has such a deep, rich, emotional package with the lyrics, and a very unique instrumental that helps fit the energy and idea the song is going for. I think it would be interesting to hear this song as a pure piano ballad, since there is a lot of potential with turning this song into an even more “this is a song I listen to when I’m sad or in a down kind of mood” sort of deal. (Though, I know I’ll be listening to this all the time.)
