Back when I hatched babies! I used a small round incubator. It had a turner and a reservoir for distilled water. I kept the humidity high and left them on the turner until I saw pipping. I did keep a close eye on them. My hatch rate was always good. I also talked to them and cheered them on, please don’t laugh! 😀. I dearly loved my babies. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

Cannot wait to see the new windows being installed. Our family have the same situation when ever we have to pick up anything big. Fitting the kids and items into the car is always a challenge. One big jigsaw puzzle.

I grew up in Brookville Ohio. I was so excited watching this. There was a mobile home manufacturer there called Vindale. I kept wondering if you were headed there. Saw that you didn't. I don't even know if it is still there. It was good to see Ohio and flatlands.

We had a big Chevy van similar to that one a few years ago when our kids were younger. We have 4 kids, all of whom have finally moved away. The youngest is 20. We used our full sized van to haul a lot of stuff, a lot of people over the years. It served us well. Looks like you guys are getting a lot of use out of yours, too. Hope it meets your needs for years to come.

You should paint first, then install the windows. You won't have to tape off anything that way. It'll save you a lot of time.

Most of your projects are done on the mobile home and it sure does look nice. I NEVER replace anything with mobile home parts. They are to cheaply made. I go to home depot or lowes and get the parts there. I had a special order done for our entry door in steel and they cut down the screen door to fit. Much more sturdy. The back door needs replacing now. So much air comes thru it in the winter. I don't know why mobile home parts are so flimsy. It is a dwelling. I know you will do a nice job on the windows and door. As I am getting older, I surely can't keep this property up. Hubby is now disabled and it only leaves me to keep it up. I am older and my body sure feels like it. I know I won't be here much longer. The place is just too large. We have 2 acres and it calls for a younger couple who has many years a head of them. I am really thinking of downsizing. I know it won't be right now, but when that time comes....I'm out.

I've been following this to see how you do the windows. We have a 1987 Kropf Lynbrooke series park mobile home we are renovating. We have a lot of the same type windows that are pretty much done. We're looking for what kind of windows to replace them with and are thinking those Tafco from Home Depot or the Lowes counterpart. Thanks so much for making the video!

Awesome! We purchased new windows for our home over the winter. I have all but two done and have meant to do a video on replacing them too. Maybe I will... We got the dual pane thermal windows but aren’t flipping the place like you guys. Even still, those windows will be such a big improvement!

I had an old park model at a summer camp. I found that you had to level the frame to get the latch to line up. I had to jack it up and shim under.

Wow, those old windows had to be terribly energy inefficient. If you have to stay there this winter they should make a huge improvement in your heating bills. It's always fun to go on a road trip and see new places. Loved the water fountain and Ashley got to eat at her favorite restraunt. Anyway i watch a couple dumpster diving videos, and both of them always go to pet store dumpsters, they find all kinds of cat food and cat toys and they get dog food also! So thought I'd tell you guys you might want to check dumsters out when ever you go into town! They don't find it every time but when they do it last them long time. Oh sometimes they split the bags then sometimes they don't. You can see if dumster diving is legal where you live, i googled my city and state and its legal untill 11:00 at night! That window in front of the kids made me laugh. It made me think about how I always said I wanted to put up plexiglas between all the seats so no one could bug anybody else. Lol

Paint first!!! Actually, remove windows, clean the areas around them, paint, then install new windows. Save time taping off windows! LOL Looking forward to watching however you decide to do it!

If it isn’t asking too much, how much were the windows? Where the mobile home is, I guess you can still put in new windows that aren’t thermal. I have the old aluminum, and they do need to be replaced. But, as I live in Canada, I need the newer thermal ones, which I imagine are more costly, and there aren’t any mobile home supply stores anywhere by me. Someone did replace two of them back when, before I bought it. As did the front door, it is a regular house door, but I Must replace the back door, with a smaller-sized regular house door. The list goes on and on. 😊

Wonder if you already have the paint for the outside. Sure would be easy to paint when the windows are out ... Just sayin' :) Blessings ~

Like I said - the mobile is going to be better than new when you get finished with it!! I love that the windows are made in USA!! May I make a suggestion? Get a new porch light while you’re at it. The existing light is ‘fine’ but the new windows and new door are going to make it look really cheap. Maybe you can find one at the Habitat ReStore? That place is always ‘hit’ or ‘miss’ but when you hit something it’s usually great! I’m just sad you’re doing all this work and won’t be able to enjoy it. I hope you show your subscribers how you install the windows and hang the door. When my kid's were toddlers I would take them to Walmart to the toy section and let them play. The best part was that we did not purchase anything.
