This may have been said already but place your order whenever within the month especially if something is on sale. This way you get the sake price but you can adjust your order before your cut off date! Those sale items might not be on sale anymore at your cut off date but as long as you had them in your cart and entered your order you'll get that price even if you make adjustments to other items in your order!

Another tip is if an Item is one that is In/out of stock a lot is the day before add the back up for whatever it is you want and then within a hour or whatever before the cut off delete whichever’s not going to work. And that gives you time to come up with a surprise plan C if neither plans A or B work. And I have added a plan C ( 5 10lbs bags of flour) before in my cart the day before to then deleted it because plan A (50lbs bag) came back three hours before my cut off.

I wonder about the cheeses. I’m excited to see your review of your purchase.

I have been ordering from Azure for a couple of years now. And yes, I have been disappointed when something was no longer available. However, when I go to the grocery store, lately, items have off the shelf for quite some time as well. I buy wheat berries to mill my own flour. I have also been buying frozen berries for making jams. Same with Pomona’s Pectin. I also love their raisins. For storage I have bought their 5 gallon buckets and the Gamma lids as well as the glass 1/2 gallon jars. And it is only me and my husband. I don’t buy every month but try to make larger purchases on some months.

I’ve been looking into Azure, but there are only two of us living in a small space.

We are so thankful for Azure, not only the high quality products they sell but the integirty and moral compass in which they run their business.

You will be so happy you made the plunge! We've been customers and drop coordinators for some 10 years now and are STILL finding more and more things to buy from Azure. I think we've actually reached the point where we buy over half our groceries from them... and still looking for more to move over. A few tips: #1 - I would not suggest WAITING to place your order. You can place it, and then make any changes up until the cut-off. Just don't get too attached to the idea of any specific item coming. 😉 #2 - Don't remove items just because they are showing up "out of stock". I have had a ton of "out of stock" items that end up shipping. This month, this was the case with butter - which we were very happy about! #3 - Items are randomly, and some more often than not, out of stock. We keep a 2+ month supply on hand to ensure we don't have to revert back to conventional store-bought items.

I go to the Wheaton drop. We love it. I like the block cheese, white popcorn, coconut oil , honey, maple syrup, flour, granola, and their garlic, onions and potatoes! I also get their soup mixes and dried beans. Hope you love it!

I love Azure Standard. They are 3 hours north of me in a great little farming county. I love picking up my groceries at the local lineman's house and the truck driver lives across the road. Great products, FANTASTIC website and great service!

I was told a couple days ago by my rep to always leave everything you want in your cart & checkout. Even if it says out of stock, on your cutoff day, it is still possible that it will in fact ship(they could have gotten a delivery from their suppliers the morning your order ships). My rep had ordered apples, they said out of stock, but she left them in her order but also added a different kind of apple & when her order came she had 2 bags of apples. I hope this helps & makes sense 😆 And thank you for doing this video, I had the same realization, thinking that if I placed an order my items were "held" for me. They are not. Hands down their wheat berries are the best price that I have found. 👍🏻😊

We've been using Azure for a few years. My favorites: wheat berries/ flour, garlic, popcorn, chicken feed, alfalfa for the dairy cow, coconut oil, steel cut oats, 40# cabbage for sauerkraut, Dr. Jacobs soap, beeswax for candles and so much more. Lol We start adding things to our cart as soon as our other order ships and we check out throughout the month to watch what's in stock and to stay in budget.

I may be repeating someone else. But Azure does notify you via email if some of your order wasn’t fulfilled. Also, you can review your cart to see what is out of stock, it will update your cart as that happens. Basically I add what I want to my cart and monitor it for adjustments… I do the actually order the day before cut off. I do the main portion of my food shopping via Azure. Some fruits and veggies are mostly what I hit local stores for. Also, only once has the ship date ever changed for my location. Yes, usually there is someone that will hold your order for you if you can’t make it. You will find people who use Azure? It’s like a community.

I am doing my second order I was sent an email, letting me know that an item I ordered was not available. I bought molasses to make my own brown sugar.

Sadly, Azure Standard Headquarters burnt down yesterday, April 19th. Thankfully no injuries but they will experience some supply difficulties at least for a while. Everyone needs to be patient and give them our full support!

I found if you find a pickup at a *store front, it's a bit easier to pick up. Since the order can "wait" for you..that day... They may even have refrigerator available.. if you *ask* store owner. At a STORE DROP the driver loads orders into the store. Customers only pick up. At a " community drop" within a community setting is very unique, since customers unload truck.. ( be there early) you might learn from others/ networking/ find a friend!

Have wanted to order from them. But have been scared to because of the strict pick ups. I work from 9-5.

Hello, I would not suggest waiting until the last day to order. Place your order whenever you choose BEFORE the cut off and just double check the day of or day before cut off. If something is low or out of stock change the size if that is an option. Keep in mind that you MAY get both sizes. Just depends. I believe they do the best possible , there are just so many people ordering now. If you can do a larger order less often that would be great. Much success on your orders

Artisan bakers, craft unbleached white wheat flour organic is great for everything! I have been buying it for about 5 years from azure and I love it!

They sell calcium hydroxide which is used to soak corn used in tortillas.

I placed my first order last fall. I ordered their canning jars. Nice people at the drop. Be prepared to help sort the orders.

lol - I do spend $800- $1,000 a month with Azure. But, I've not been in a grocery store in over 8 months, so there's that! HAHA. I love the cheeses, butters, and milk. The dry goods are amazing. Raisins! Love the raisins. Cabbage...40 pounds a month. 30 pounds of onions too. Excellent frozen fruits and veggies. The corn and blueberries! Yums. Stacy's Torts are a winner! Coffee, nuts, tomato paste...animal feed! Fertilizers! lol I could go on and on. And yep. Sometimes, you've gotta compromise, but you'll get your goodies eventually. ;-) Hope you're enjoying Azure!

I haven’t ordered from them but I watch Becky at acre homestead and Sara at our tribe of many who order from there. They are very happy with them.

Here are some of my faves: To supplement our home grown onions and garlic, I order the organic granular onion & granular garlic, I made the mistake the first time ordering powders…it was so fine it was a large clump within a week of opening. I order Organic azure brand avocado oil in the gallon. Love it! The raw cheddar in the estimated 5 pound blocks is great!! I pre shred it and freeze in 1 cup portions, it works to well. Central milling artisan bakers craft organic whole white wheat. 50 pounds at a time. Also on the purchasing, after you place your order about a day before they pack your order, Azure will email you with a message telling you the items they were not able to fill for you. With plenty of time for you to sub if desired. Also on the pickup time…be prepared for time to change, maybe multiple times for the same order!! Our March order had 5 different emails changing the actual time of day. It started out as a 10 am drop on Wednesday , changed multiple times…finally the truck arrived at the drop at 6pm. The drop is about 45 minutes from my house so it wasted the day pretty much! Especially since my drop person wasn’t going to be there to hold my packages. I order when ever..no need to wait to later, it may or may not arrive, but you will receive an email from Azure with your items shipped and total will have a “#of cases” listed. Each bulk bag 25-50 #s count as 1 case, your smaller items will be jammed packed in repurposed boxes (saves on space in truck plus waste). Always count your cases. I have always had the correct amount of cases, but I have had items of other shoppers from my drop in my box before and I’ve had missing items, contact customer service and they fix it with a credit to your account for the next purchase not a refund. And your drop leader can help with the other person’s item. Hope all this is helpful!!

I have been buying from Azure for over 25 years. I now live within 2 blocks from the main warehouse and can get my groceries the next day. They are a great company and have great employees.

We placed our first order a few months ago and definitely will again. So far our favorite products are the steel cut oats, coconut, and the dried mangos. We are almost through all the raisins too. They were out of the gf flour when I placed my order so I plan to try that next time. Love your channel! ❤️

Our order pick up from Azure was crazy. No organization, no paper trail of what was ordered. Anyone could step up and take your order, they just called a name for you to get your stuff, and required no verification for a person to pick up. And most items I needed where no longer in stock...

Thanks for the video! I have been hearing about Azure Standard from another RU-vid channel (Living Traditions Homestead). The closest drop for me is about 90 miles! I too have ordered from Country Life Natural Foods and like their products and service.

How totally funny! I just placed my first order as well this past week and pick up this Monday! My order included 20lb of pears which according to their email notification yesterday, is out of stock. They did notify me in advance, so when I go to pick up on Monday, I know that the pears will not be delivered! I am however, really looking forward to the 50lbs of potatoes after seeing Jessica's from Three Rivers Homestead channel pickup... I ordered Tahini for homemade hummus and treats, Avocado oil as well, their 1000 package of heirloom seeds as I am a fairly new gardener, my 3rd year (fingers crossed), Peanut butter ❤️powder, dried blueberries and a brick of sharp cheddar cheese! Love azure! I am one of coordinators at my drop. Cheeses are great! Raw cheddar and mozzarella is my favorite. I get grain from them.( instead country life, we use to get it From them) Packaging supplies like buckets and 1 gallon jars + Gemma lids. Carrots, onions and potatoes are great as well. I am thankful that I can get them there, because I notoriously run out on my own home grown…. Oils is a big one for us!

Great break down of the quirks of their system. Azure has had a massive increase in folks ordering, which would increase the out of stock items. Demand is up and supply will continue to be depleted. So, I say this with nothing against Azure, I prefer to buy anything that I'm uncomfortably low on that I can physically grab now. Mail order or delivery will not be a guarantee in the coming days and months ahead. Not a fear driven statement, just agricultural data driven remarks. I store wheat berries, whole oats, etc. Long term storage buckets and rotate through them. You can be added as a drop point, if it's something you are interested in.

We are recent azure standard members, and so far we are very pleased! Customer service has been great and Robin, our local pick up coordinator is very friendly and helpful. Among other things, we have ordered the organic quick oats and found Azure Standard pricing to be extremely competitive of not even better than our local bulk supermarket and that is really saying something, because WinCo cannot be beat for price in our area. Because we are in such close proximity to the warehouse we are lucky to have free shipping. I really enjoy seeing the hauls some people make, and they have some great ideas.

We love Azure! We get our wheat berries from there! We also get our oats, yeast, popcorn, CHEESE- their house brand of the raw milk cheddar is AMAZING- we get the 5 pound block- we also get their mozzarella, ketchup, Heritage Os ( think better cheerios), kamut flour, kamut puff cereal, cream cheese, parchment paper (bleach and chemical free!),avocado oil, vanilla, oh my! Lol our drop is only 10 minutes away- we are lucky!

You received emails along the way about out of stock items and the final email states what is out of stock and you won't receive. Plus, it states the total boxes/containers, weight and a list below of what you will be getting. We love Azure. Great company and you will love the products. :)

I love Azure! My favorites are 25lb regular. rolled oats, vanilla, gal. honey, molasses, dates, raisins, spices, and what might be on clearance. Also only ordering a few times a year. Enjoy!

I’m ordering grains, sprouting them, dehydrating and milling my own flour.

I live in the East. Delivery seems to be a moving target which is a problem. Products seem to be good.

I like Azure and been shopping with them for 2 years. The only thing I don't care for is their cornmeal, is too corse for my liking.

Love Azure! So in reference to things being out of stock you can place you order and still shift things in your cart until the cut off time. What I do is put everything I want in the cart place it and check it within the hour before the cut off. With things that are constantly in/out of stock they don’t always mark the back in stock date, so it will just pop back up. So save yourself a headache in constantly checking through the month and just remember that the last hour or so is a good time to double check and shift things that need to be shifted.

Thank you for your video, I am waiting to get a larger home before I order from Azure Standard. I have also been watching another homestead site on RU-vid (Becky with Acre Homestead, she orders all of her bulk food from Azure Standard). Both of you are giving some very good advice and tips. I am seeing a lot of food products going up in price in my area and very quickly I might add. So through watching all of you ladies that are homesteaders and are teaching how to make your own seasoning blends, broths, and canning foods as well as medicinal products I give a great big thank you and God bless you all. I will soon start a homestead on one acre of land that looks and feels like two acres and start a long term working pantry. As a newbie, I will welcome tips and advice.

I love azure standard. Stacys tortilla are fantastic regarding my favorite things to order are grains since I grind my own flour I buy bulk wheat, I also get steel cut oats, organic lemon juice for canning tomatoes, l get my sugar rice beans and popcorn from them also

If you don’t mind grinding your own flour try the wheat berries. They last a very long time & saves a lot of money

I can't order from Azure because I am not from the USA. But from what I understand, it is a good family owned type company. And its better than Walmart, IMHO. A few people I know are placing a 2 month order to save the monthly driving time and cost associated with the fuel...just a thought.

I placed my first order last month. Was super pleased with fresh produce and did have a couple of items out of stock which I was notified prior to order. My favorite product has to be the palm fruit shortening, avocado oil, and powdered milk products for long term storage.

Picked up my order in a thunderstorm today. 😂 Azure staples I love… raw cheese (cheddar and mozzarella in 6lb blocks), Nancy’s dairy products, all kinds of wheat berries, dry foods like beans and oats etc, popcorn, beef tallow, dried fruit (pineapple is a nice treat), bulk spices, sucanat, honey, oils, some canned goods, seeds, plant starts, buckets and gamma lids, supplements, bulk spices, soy free chocolate chips, gallon jars, oxygen cleaner, frozen fruit and veggies, seasonal bulk produce for preserving… FWIW You can place your order anytime but add or change things up until the last minute. I always place it early then check it the day of cut off. :) Also, you know what you’ll be getting when it ships. Tells you items and how many cases. :)

Just picked up my order this morning. They took some getting used to for me, but I can say that I now highly recommend them. Especially for the extra-large bulk items, they offer some great prices and quality.

I adore Azure and your channel. One day I hope to drive out and visit your farm store. I live in Chicago(😕) and have been using Azure almost exclusively for 2 yrs and have been extremely happy with all of their products (including all the wheat…my breads are just a bit better in every way), their standards, values and customer service. The only thing I haven’t loved was the fresh garlic. I’ve never gotten their hibiscus flowers, however, on my many travels to Mexico they have a typical drink called Agua de Jamaica that is delicious. Here’s the recipe! 3 quarts (12 cups) water 1 (1/2-inch) piece ginger, finely grated 1 1/2 cups dried hibiscus flowers 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice Combine water and ginger in a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat and stir in Jamaica flowers and sugar until sugar has dissolved. Let steep 10 minutes. Strain through a chinois or fine mesh strainer into a large, heat-resistant bowl or pot. Stir in lime juice and set aside to cool. Refrigerate until ready to use.

I am new to Azure and received my first order 2 days ago and love the entire experience so far. The only thing as some things become out of stock between your cut off date and shipping so didn't get a few things. I have those items in my new cart for next month... I am ordering all I need for the next year so hopefully will get everything in 2 deliveries total. Everything you had stated is spot on. So far... love all the items I purchased.

I have ordered from Azure for like 25 years. I love them. You don't have to wait until the last minute to place your order. You can place your order, and keep making changes on it until the cutoff time. Azure will notify you which of your items are sold out. You can put a request in the shipping instructions, such as "please substitute a 25-pound bag of wheat berries if the 50-pound bag is sold out." Also, if you have a grinder, buy wheat berries and grind your own flour. Whole wheat flour goes rancid quickly after grinding. I grind in small batches and keep it in the freezer until I bake bread. Hope this helps. I love your channel.

I just ordered today! Haha! I remembered my order was due at 5 and it was currently 4:45. My goodness, I'm glad I had everything in my cart at that moment. This is my 2nd order. Last time I did seeds... smallest order on the semi, LOL!!! I'm hoping I really like my purchases as well.

Love thier 5-6lb cheese! Best prices I have seen! I would recommend only refrigerating thier Alexandria milk products, if you are using in coffee/teas. When I defrost them the milk fats seperated..looks unpleasant. Tastes fine, especially nice in cooked items, like casseroles, or ice cream/ whipped cream. We bought the "logs" of cream cheese. They kept 3 months! Very good! Thier coconut fig rolls, were really good! Also fruit *juice* sweetened cranberries. They have less sugar. They are soft, taste AMAZING!

I really appreciate this video. I signed up for Azure several months ago, but I have yet to make my first order because of the drop timing. We live about 1-1/2 hours away from the nearest site and our time is not that flexible at this point. Someday I'll take the plunge, but not yet.

I love Azure the biggest thing is to be flexible with your pickup, things happen trucks break down, weather not getting loaded on time. Make sure you have room and a way to repackage your purchases. I have been purchasing since January and I live in PA.

It’s the same checkout process for my Thrive Life. Cutoff date was missed on my last order and I ended up without something and then shipping was charged.

Love the hibiscus for hot tea. I have never ever enjoyed hot tea. Note that they have baking powder in their in house brand cheaper than the Rumsford. It is also AL free. Love their raisins and dried cranberries. The 10lb thompson is best price.

Yes, the " selling out" happens allot. But like the stores, " sales flyers" there does seem to be a bit of a " cycle" to it. Our first order was fall of last year.

Their Rumsford baking powder is very lively! It is fantastic! If there is something you really want, and it is out of stock, leave it in your cart anyway. I learned this when they had a great price on organic butter, and I took it out of my cart. On delivery day, all these people were getting that butter! Lesson learned.

I disagree about waiting until close to your cutoff date to place your order. If you place an order earlier than the cut off, you can go back into your order and Azure will indicate if an item is out of stock. Even if it is listed as out of stock, they might get more in stock before they fill your order. So my point is to recheck your order again close to your cut off date. Once your order is filled and packed, they email you with exactly what is in the order. So you know ahead of picking up an order, exactly what is in it. And how many cases to expect. Each bag or box is considered a case. I've been ordering from Azure for about 8 years and have used two different drop sites. Both drop coordinators were organized and as long as you know how many cases to expect, you wont leave anything at the drop.

Do you buy powdered milk and if so what kind tastes the best?

After you checkout you can still add or delete products. However, it is important that you go in a day or two before to check on what you may be getting. If that makes any sense. Just don’t do what I did and add the same product but in different sizes then forget to update your cart. 😬 It’s all good though because we used it.

I always order wheat berries and oats from Azure and have never been disappointed with them. We've also ordered cocoa powder, spices, frozen blueberries and banana chips. All have been great. Pick up dates can change from the one on the website. Always go with the date sent in the email they send you. People at my pickup spot have been so great at taking and holding orders for others who are unable to make it or running a little late.
