I have a friend with later stage MS and he moved north to Utah from Arizona. He still has to wear ice packs outside during summer, but it's reduced from 6 months to 3 months. I know you're an east coast guy, and I'm not going to guess what state is best for you, but maybe look into a cooler state to live in for your own health.

The fact that either side can't loosen control over any hot button topic is the issue.
