After what IS happening in Gazza and how thé university students reaction toward that makes me feel différent that people stay have hearts and humanitarians
This song hit me in so many ways, It makes me wonder what happened to the world we live in now. Music isnt the same, people dont unite anymore and it seems its just fighting and anger. We need to find a way to unite again and not fight eachother.
Came here from the documentary, which is Chefs kiss. My introduction to MJ songs were through different people, growing up. My aunt played it on loop cleaning the house back in the day. Nowadays, I find myself sometimes putting it on loop like my aunt did. It's so catchy and I love harmonizing with them all. Cyndi Lauper and Stevie are my fave parts. MJs voice is angelic. Bruce's part is iconic! I shed a tear watching the Docu because I felt what Diana Ross voiced ie she didn't want that night to be over. You could see from the documentary that they were just normal people doing what they love and with admiration and respect for each other. MJ came across as so humble (I really wish he'd given an interview during the recording. I miss him so much! 😔) Quincy was a genius. Al was hilarious, I laughed so hard. I loved him. We all know someone like him in a discussion group. Bruce Springsteens (wow he was a stunner in the 80s, huh!) vocals are a touch of Heaven! Stevie, God bless him, an ADHDer like me... Always thinking of how to make things more perfect but the world doesn't work with our timelines. Harry Belafonte, God bless you for thinking of this concept. Bob Dylan was like, what am I doing here, somebody help lol Ray Charles, iconic. Loved Huey! He looks better than he did when young, crazy. Lionel Richie - hadn't ever heard him speak! The MJ animal jokes were sending me 😂 and let me tell you something, when that song starts, Lionel's voice gives me shivers. It's like a ripple across calm waters. It's crystal clear and sharp. It's magnificent. Tina Turner - goodness, what a goddess. I love Prince but I know most artists are like Bob and Prince, introverts who'd rather work alone so I understand. Still, would've been nice for him to show up. Loved MJs outfit and his himour. This docu had everything: the tea, the laughs, the love, the tears, the emotions, the high notes, just...a delectable mix. I enjoyed it and it makes me sad that we are at an age where the icons have left or are leaving us. Nothing lasts forever but it was good while it lasted. I'm glad this song is here. Two quotes I looooved from the show, to paraphrase: 1) How music is something spiritual that traverses space and time to come touch your soul 2) Be happy when you comeback home because one day there'll be no home to come back to. Whew! That last one was emotional. I LOVED the Docu and I LOVE this song. Shout out to Bob Geldof for the inspiration. #TheGreatestNightInMusic #Netflix
Thanks to read your, yeah, I read that about no home to go to...well, ..., my home will be in the arms of MY LOVE MADONNA ...I WILL BE HAPPY WHEN SHE INVITE BACK...so, now home is in my heart!!! Excuse me. Not to bother you❤❤❤
I was also cryin’ when I realized “that was Bob Dylan doin’ that part”! - I was like 8 when this was released and am already 48. Very vivid part of me singing along was the Bridge part with MJ, CL and KC 😊 I’d always copy the high notes from Cyndi. Stevie, Bruce, Dione (distinct amongst everyone) ❤❤❤ am so glad they’ve recorded this back then - something to look back! #TheGreatestNightInMusic #Netflix
Just watched the documentary on Netflix. I was 7 when this came out, and remember it well. Quincy is a musical genius, and was able to piece together a masterpiece that we couldn’t see up front. I like how Lionel held everyone together, but I wish Prince would have showed up. I remember most of these celebrities from back in the day, and I’m so grateful to have grown up in an era with so much real musical talent. One thing I know for sure is that Micheal would have been ok with being there to record no matter how long it took, due to him being a perfectionist. Rip to those who transitioned. This was a beautiful thing for American artists to gift to the world ❤
I loved the documentary, I didn´t know much of the things that happened, especially with Bob Dylan, and I have a respect because he flet vulnerable, out of place and the way Stevie helped him was presciouss ❤ And Michael, oh really loved him, rest in peace.
Hey this is simply the best amen they don't make songs of together ness rap and the freedom to say something about the world will only take and separate people it's not a black and white red and white thing separate and division teach our next generation and education is simply the best

Where did they ever find a building that could withstand the force of all this pure talent. I almost can't bear all these legends on one stage.Powerful!

The duet part of Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen was awesome. A timeless classic. A collection of some of the greatest voices of all time, many of which have moved on from this world. We will meet you when our own time here is finished.

Set/2023
We need this music now more than ever Because the war's are getting out of hands Country are fighting each other Poor children are dying like it nothing The world is sad
From the docu in netflix.. i can see MJ is so passionate and perfectionist kind of person.. so humble… we miss u MJ .. i wish i can come to this era to see all this..
I still get goosebumps listening to these music icons! To those that have passed on, rest in peace 🙏. I can't get enough listening to this very heartwarming song..God bless all your hearts for coming together with your talented voices to give back to charity..I am truly blessed..
No aprendemos
