And the timing! We need more. Maybe a people not liking the jokes your told to read complication? Comedians in hiding for protection or something? Not trying to make this about Will and his wife but I have alopecia, the joke was funny, GI Jane is lovely. Will does not know what love is or how to fulfill the calling God has for him. Pray for that family, his wife brags about the control she has over him. As for" real" feelings and contact or not, who cares, the issues are still all there, none of that was normal, pray for them. Hollywood also exposed themselves, this was God.
This is seriously one of the best sketches you guys have done. Every part of it, the timing, the impressions, the acting, the ridiculous hilarious lyrics, costume, make up. And so many subtle extra funny parts. Excellent job. Keep it up.
This song was gonna be longer because I was going to be guy fieri/Joey Fatone in this, but I couldn’t be there for my daughters birth. But a line about Joey Fatone stayed in there!
Referencing the original song "We are the World," I will say that it appeared to be a moment in time where even though we make fun of it now, for being corny and full of all these celebrities..they actually made a difference and I think that's really cool. The money really did go to agriculture and fishing and reforestation projects in Africa, as well as a small portion into hunger and homeless programs in the U.S. A survivor from Ethiopia (Elia Beyene) once said: I grew up in a time of great drought and famine. It was a terrible situation. Lots of people became sick and many more died. Around one million were killed by the famine. In 1984 Michael Jackson along with a number of other musicians made the song We are the World to raise money for Africa. We received a lot of aid from the world and I was one of those who directly benefited from it. The flour that was distributed to the famine victims, we baked a special bread from it. The local people named the bread after the great artist and it became know as Michael Bread. It was soft and delicious. When you have been through such hard times you will never forget events like this. Speak to anyone who was in Ethiopia at that time and they will know what Michael Bread is and I know I will remember it for the rest of my life.
Of course. I don't want people to think this sketch was disrespectful. The celebrity Song was actually the best initiative possible. And It helped people in the poor world
I LOVE YOU STUDIO C!!!!!!! OMG! This was so on POINT!!!!!! Love the Owen Wilson impression will never go out of style. Jetta was so on point w/ Ariana Grande. Now can I get an AMEN ON THAT! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the BEST Studio Cs ever!! I have personally watched it more times than I can count and just want to keep watching it. CHER!!! CCCCHHHHEEEERRRR!!!! C H E R !!! Three "Chers" to all of you!!! Outstanding Work!!
This was seriously so wonderfully hilarious and chaotic😂😭 everyone did such an amazing and accurate job😂😂 also props to the hair/makeup/wardrobe team because they killed it!!
Fair play, having disliked many of the most recent videos, this one is a step in the right direction, better concept and writing, playing to your strengths and having one decent joke running through that is understandable and not as forced, and not confusing weirdness for comedy like so many recent ones seemed to. Well done, I kept coming back because I think there is talent here, just need good sketches to make it work.
A rare funny sketch! Hopefully, there is light at the end of the tunnel that has been the "bad years" of Studio C. Please, please, please do more like this!
it's not rare. I already have a list of my fave s10-beyond sketches and I listed 169 sketches so far. What's also not rare are comments like yours. Which I read all the time on almost every sketch of the new Studio C. I think old fans have a bad memory.
Anyone else remember that honorable, glorious performance of Imagine by Gal Gadot, Will Ferrel, and others? No? Then that means your head is in the right place unlike mine. On another hand, I like the inspiration for this skit. The impressions were pretty darn good.
This was a really funny video I love all the new members of this cast. Owen Wilson was just wow. Cher- beautiful. Bille Eilish-perfect. I don't know how or why Adam Driver fits into this but it was SO perfect. When they zoomed out and I saw the light saber I was like that is hilarious.
This was great. I made a little We are the World cover with four other people during quarantine but I still like that they were able to joke about it (specifically rich celebrities who grace us humble servants with their presence)
Parts of this actually had really nice melody. I'm not familiar with most of the celebrities besides their names, but others are saying the impressions were well done =)
wow! this was probably one of their few best skits ever lol. I loved the Ariana Grande impression and Owen Wilson! they were on point! and ofc the others were great too :)
It took this skit to finally make me understand the phrase, "I CAN'T EVEN." I always made fun of people when they said that and ask them why they couldn't finish their sentence. Now I get it...
Hard to believe this video is only a week old! I could have sworn it came out like a month ago. Time sure drags, when you’re listening to a song as great as this! 😃
So after watching this, I had to go watch the original from 1985. Has anyone ever noticed how uptight serious everyone looks just before they sing their part. There were a lot of egos in that room. I know it always looked like everyone got along but I still wonder. I believe it was Quincy Jones who did all the work and kudos to him for being able to get everyone to sing in their key for the song. I'm sure there was some tweaking but my chorus in high school did this and it wasn't easy. I think with everything going on in the world it would be good if they redid this for Ukraine or something similar but it's hard to get people to come together like this. Great job Studio C. You made me laugh! At least it looks like you guys were having fun doing this. It doesn't look like the original people we're having that much fun until the chorus. And I've watched this video for a really long time and I never noticed they weren't smiling until the chorus. I know it was a serious event, I remember. I just thought I remembered everyone being happier doing the song. Funny how your memory is different then what is actually taking place.
There's also the 2010 one for Haiti and they are also very serious, I never thought about that. I made a little collab cover of We Are The World in 2020, there were only a handful of participants and it was fun but stressful to put together.
I've been trying not to leave any negative comments so I'm just gonna say Dalton has ALWAYS been amazing and Jetta, Arwin and Tanner really stand out in the new cast. P.S. Jason is unmatched, obviously.
Can we raise some money to have Cher, Ariana, Tom, Taylor, Adam, Billie, Chris, Owen and James, to take this script. And make this a thing. Word for word Funny mannerism for funny mannerism.
Tom Cruise, Ariana, Cher going auto-tune and mentioning her age, Adam mentioning that he's taller than everyone and it doesnt matter how short kids are and pulling out the lightsaber are my fave parts.
