What is peaking

I'm not sure if you took pregnancy tests or ovulation tests. I have never done non-digital ovulation tests, so I wouldn't know what it means the dark blue lines. If you have irregular menstrual periods, you need to determine when you are ovulating using a basal thermometer. Maybe mention to a gynecologist doctor who can orient you on how to do it.

I would start testing as soon as your menstrual period ended or last day of your menstrual cycle. I would try to conceive on the days the smiley face is flashing (moving) anytime between cycle day 5 and cycle day 8. Assuming you have a smiley face on cycle days 5, 6,7 and 8, those would be the days I would try to conceive of a girl. It really depends on how long is menstrual cycle and be sure to start testing early enough to see the progression of your cycle. Take notes in case you dont conceive in the first cycle so you know what day you believe you ovulated so next cycle you are more accurate about when is the best day to try to conceive of a girl. I did early morning using first pee of day. That means I slept whole night without peeing and after 8-12 hours of sleep I used the pee to test. I hope that makes sense to you.

Thank you!!! I did plan both boys. I tried to conceive a day before ovulation and on ovulation day and got pregnant with boys within the same cycle month. Read the book called "how to choose the sex of your baby" by Ladrum B. Shettles and David M. Rorvik. They talk about diets men and woman should make to increase your chances. As far as I remember lots of potassium foods help to have boy.

Strips are changed every time you do an ovulation test so I changed strip once a day (1 test per day). Just remove strip, throw away, then put unused stick inside. This box included 10 strips for 10 tests.

If you used the same test as me, and you have a face meaning peak, and that you will ovulate in 48 hours, as long as you are pretty sure you are about to ovulate, go ahead and try that day and the next 2 days. If you try 2 days before ovulation, 1 day before ovulation, on ovulation day, according to Shettles method, you are more likely to conceive of a boy. It worked for my 2 boys, they were conceived about 1 day before ovulation day.

If you follow Dr. Shettle method to increase your chances for a girl, try to have intercourse right after menstruation period, and stop at least 3 days before ovulation day. In my case I had sex on 4,5,6, and 7 days before ovulation day.

I knew ahead of time about what day I should ovulate. My menstrual periods are very regular. Even though I was doing ovulation tests, I didn't want to try to conceive too close to the day I thought I was going to ovulate. Since I'm extremely fertile, I also thought I was gonna get pregnant only trying those 4 times. I got pregnant within 10 days after ovulation in all of my previous pregnancies, which means, I didn't have to try the following month. As soon as I started trying to conceive, I would get pregnant less than 2 weeks later.

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant even if you try only twice, but I can't say for you. I know for me it would be enough because Im just very fertile. With my 3 pregnancies I got pregnant in the first cycle, meaning I didn't have to try to conceive in the next fertile window because I was already pregnant.

Im not sure, but in the instructions say you test only once a day.

I would say it's a transition period, even tho different results on same day. Just my thoughts. 😀

I have heard for many woman as normal, but consult your doctor. As far as I know, bleeding implantation could happen on around day 8 after intercourse or so.

I would start testing on cycle day 12 and stop testing on day 21 or until you have peak results. The reason I would start testing earlier is because the test I used can be tested 10 times so I would want to see the progression of ovulation tests. The average for a 34 cycle lenght is to start between cycle day 14 and 17. If you want a girl, I would try to conceive on day 14,15,16,17, assuming you ovulate on day 21.

July 10th my period started. I started testing on 20th July, 21st and 22 and I got blank that means low fertility 23 to 28 I got high fertility when I will get peak I'm worried still how many days I have to test actually I wanted boy baby

Everyone is different, you may want to try to measure your basal temperature to find out when you ovulate. If you want a boy try to conceive on ovulation day, 1 or 2 days before ovulation day. For example, I would try on July 28, 29, 30, supposing that you ovulate on July 30. If you dont get a peak result may be that you are not going to ovulate that cycle or that hormone levels are too low. If you get high fertility 9 times you should stop and try in the next cycle. Are your menstrual periods very regular?

Both!! haha If you just want to get pregnant right away the peak is the moment you are most likely to conceive. If you want to try to increase chances on boy or girl, then you would have to try specific days (closer or further of ovulation).

According to the shettle method you have better chances if you try 4 days or more before ovulation day.

Hi Ashleigh, I avoided sex a day before I got the result of peak fertility on my ovulation test. My menstrual period started on August 7 and ended on August 11. We had intercourse on August 13, 14, 15, and 16. We had intercourse 4,5,6 and 7 days before ovulation. I believe ovulated on August 20. I wish you all the best on your trying to conceive journey!
