😢😢😢 some parents are 14 have kids and those kids have parents young inexperienced and repeats, drugs and gangs and many parents cant do what Helen said . What is needed is child grant only given 16 and above and a subject at school teaching children how much a baby costs and and how much better their lives can be without a baby as a too young mother and visiting nursing sisters at a church in area teaching children to not have babies young. Helen is highly intelligent and clued up but when a child has no role models , she needs guidance from a role model outside of her home. Some parents can of course guide their kids but some need outside guidance . A family who buys tik even the granny from grants does not have a parent role model and outside help and advice is needed like a community clinic in every area like in the past with videos and community nurses. I am glad Helen finally said DA most non racial party thats what many need to hear , Thanks for your good work Big Daddy

Big Daddy - I love listening to you! Thank you for getting Helen on. I worked in Cape Town and saw her in action - a part of a hospital burnt down and she was there, on site, and pushing to get it fixed and implement a backup plan. This was a public hospital in extremely poor area. No media or cameras - just Helen caring for the community and getting sh!t done.

DA need to seriously deliver wherever they get power!

I understood 1959 new named party called progressive party and over the years name changes and mergers today that is DA today and they broke away from apartheid government in 1959 and always been anti apartheid . To build a better South Africa as one nation. I wonder why Helen doesn't tell many of the viewers that still think of DA as a white white apartheid party Helen fought hard against apartheid government many years, highly intelligent clued up lady, DA have walked the walk and can talk the talk . SA people please do not fall in to the trap by dividing SA along race lines. Morgan Freeman a black USA actor said this about racism: Antidote to racism is excellence. Be so exceptional that they, the society you live in needs you. Racism is a business, if you talk about it you keep it alive. Mostly by politicians, journalists and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing other people by calling them racist.

Myself or rather we who are the neighbors of South Africa are looking to her with keen interests. I for one don't care who is in the government. My interests are, is everything will go according to to the plan? Will the government last beyond the first few days/ months hurdles? I am asking these questions because by virtue of being a neighbors, unfortunately we are slso depending on her in almost everything. This is so wether we like it or not, and in many aspects if SA collapsed we all are likely to go down with them.That is why i am praying for all to go well and continuing having a peaceful neighborhood.

Thanks for interviewing Helen she’s a real stalwart for justice change and growth: the gov of Nat unity isn’t ideal, but it’s better than the ANC stuffing RSA up further, but this new government need to allow The God of the universe ie the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ back into our government back into our country Why Because the majority of people in SA are Christian , not Muslim not any other religion, - we need the Author of Bible from which the whole western culture derived its Roman Dutch Law form of justice and law - so there you have it - we need unity not division - The God of heaven is our creator who sent Jesus to save us, Jesus is Lord - so be it -

After both the 1994 and 1996 elections there were many voices arguing that the then DP should become the junior partner to the National Party, or the New National Party, in opposition. The 1999 elections results were by no means a foregone conclusion, but we persevered in our obnoxious Helen Suzman tradition. There is a difference between having some flaws and being fundamentally flawed. It is my sincere hope that the ANC can overcome the deep flaws of the Zuma presidency, given that they have a long and proud history to inform them of what they should be doing.

Parents making less than 10554 rand per month do not have the resources to properly raise their children. This requires correction at the government level. Wages must be significantly increased.

This is how our current constitution was formed it was rushed repeating mistakes from the past.

the question is: do we want to fix the country , stop corruption , create jobs, stop crime, get the economy going,, attrack investments. Do the incoming parties agree on the above? are they willing to work towards it or are they here just for positions ?

On the basis of the current situation, i turn to believe that the signing of the statement of intent was rather hasty because the GNU is not supposed to exclude any party that was voted for in the election especially if some of those parties got majority votes in any of the constituencies. There was nothing wrong waiting for some time to have such parties in. This was rushed and may have negative repercussions later. It is a new terrain at all and therefore has to be steadily established!

Thanks for your input BigDaddy. The GNU will mean absolutely if these politicians continue squabbling and don't get on with the job we the taxpayers pay them to do. Fix and improve SA and work for ALL her people! The endless procrastination of politicians is annoying!
