Origin is when French immigrants came to Waterford their popular bread was a white bread called blanc which is French for white. This was adopted and adapted by the Waterford natives and became known as the Blaa. Simples

I found out recently that I’m genetically connected to Waterford and Cork through my father’s side (he was adopted in the US). I love watching these videos; all of these people are pleasantly talkative, outgoing and clever. I kind of wish I grew up there rather than in New York where everyone is a nasty bastard 😆 I’m going to have to research Blaa.
