They probably just didn't like the way it feels. I don't hate pop rocks but i also hate the sound it makes because it sounds like when something is stuck in your ears.

Gen Z here!, I grew up eating most of these candies, except for 3 of them, it was a trip down memory lane, but the disrespect towards runts was wild!, I remember my grandma taking me and my little to Bi-LO, which is now Food Lion and she would buy us all the junk food we wanted and my mom would get at her for doing that, whenever you would walk into the store, the candy machine would be right there and she would give me and my brother some quarters for the machine, I never knew what runts were called until a few years ago, runts are delicious and anyone who doesn't like them are tripping! 🥰🥰😊😊🤨🤨🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄🙄🤷♀️🤷♀️
This episode was good, but 2 candies I love were not here. Nerds candy, and Zero candy bars. Zero is rarer now, but very good. White chocolate on the outside with caramel and nougat inside. I do love Pop Rocks, too. It was so much fun when I was a kid.
I know he’s a PA and only reacts on occasion (probably a fill-in when they need it) but I LOVE when Brendan gets to react with the main crew. He’s hot ❤ more King Brendan as a reactor
Yeah but they roasted Pop Rocks, while loving mid-ah chocolate that tastes the same as some cheap-@h chocolate egg you buy at any market here in Brazil 😅 i wasted a pretty penny in travel taxes too, only to get that crappy chocolate Oh well. Everyone has their tastes.
Maybe for things being what they are right now, Mr. Beast bit should have been cut from the show for the time being? Also, the bars seemed a bit dodgy, no? I love lemonheads and pop rocks - pop rocks mainly for the fun, not for flavor. :)
As a joke, I once gave my oldest granddaughter a chocolate covered brussels sprout. She took one bite, gave me the side eye and wouldn't talk to me for hours! She's eighteen now and it's been thirteen years and she still remembers.
Looking at both chocolate products (WonderBall and Mr Beast) it’s visible they’ve been baddly stored. There‘s discoloration on them caused notably by keeping them too cold. Not surprised they tasted bad. You don’t store chocolate in fridges.
Space Dust (Pop Rocks) really packed a punch back in the UK during the 70s. It was actually painful. I also used to have the sweet necklaces, which are still around.
Thing is back when theses candy first came out quality mattered. Through the years most companies go cheap so you really don't get the true experience of when the candy was really good. There are exceptions but not many.
When I was a kid this little old lady had a candy store in my neighborhood, right by my bus stop. She sold a lot of these candies, some for a penny. She did it right til she died. They turned her store to a vaccum store. I was so sad.
In Canada we have a gum called Thrills. It's very floral, very much like rose-scented soap. The way they talk about it, I imagine the Violet gum to be similar.
Fun episode! Definitely would try all of these! Love the “Baby Bottle Pops”, “Runts” and “Pop Rocks!” Have not had these for awhile but will buy them next time I am at the store. Not liking Pop Rocks, crazy! 😮😲
We used to take the candy neclace and stretch it between our fingers then pull back on a candy with our teeth. Then when we bit the candy in half, the other half would shoot across the room.

Definitely have to have some Fun Dip! I love Pop Rocks so I'd be so down to have them again. Of course I'm always reminded of the cautionary tale about Mikey lol.
