If the person who dies first is on the higher level, the other person should be able to go to that level. Otherwise hatching eggs could take longer for whoever is slower.

Just a couple of things that could probably help you with the early game, only use lures if you're desperately looking for a mon (be it specific for the area you're in or so you ensure getting pair), As exp you get in double battles in massively reduced so it isn't worth the risk most of time. Try and be more efficient with money in the buying phase, remember the key battle numbers, and lastly use the vitamin items; especially when you have a main carry.

I feel Dylan’s pain with the chafing, it’s one of the worst things ever especially when you have to walk like a mile up hill to college every day. 😭😭

Started my own run-through of PokeRogue after seeing you guys playing it, and it went well! Got a Yveltal via Egg and got it's passive (Soul Heart). Swept the entirety of the game with it and then learned the hard way that Yveltal's Passive breaks the game if you kill the Final Boss with it while it's passive is active (stat boost activates, and then the game crashes). So, hopefully my next run gets the same luck, just gotta remember to not kill Final Boss with a mon that has a Stat Boost when KO ability this time. But, regardless, always happy to see you guys going at it again, hopefully that Legendary Egg gives you something good, and I hope yall have fun playing the game!

I've been seeing people playing pokerogue live all the time but it was so hard to actually get start myself! But watching you guys play the start a lot it made me able to play! This is unintentionally a great tutorial for people who've never played

With revives you can use them like encounters once per 10 floors so if you lose a couple mons on floor 20-30 then you can use a revive on the same set of floors

Shady now has me addicted to playing this game it is so unbelievably fun to play and watch

Hey guys. I love the content of this game. But hear me out, and please don't take this as a negative, I'm just trying to help, but 2 pokemon on a team is actually really good because you distribute the EXP evenly between the 2 pokemon instead of having other mons that are weak and then having your strong pokemon die and then you get cooked because your team is under leveled. Also gym leaders are ten times better than boss pokemon because you get way more exp and you get an egg voucher which you can get legendary pokemon from like zacian and Rayquaza. So you get those 2 benefits for a little bit of a harder battle. Please keep up the great content and just have fun while playing and I will be happy. And I hope those tips helped out a little bit

I just started playing PokeRogue today in college, and gotta say it’s really good. And i used Dylan’s strat of starting with Fuecoco, Mudkip, Bulbasaur and caught myself a Wurmple and Rookieide and Poocheana and i am at almost level 30 and now have Croconaw, Ivysaur, Marshtomp, Dusktops, Corvisquire and Maitheana.And i saved my file after class to come home, gonna play tonight as well.

I have finished Pokerogue classic this weekend with a Gouging Fire carrying me every run, I am looking forward to watch this journey to the end! Saudações from Brazil!

Never ever doubt the Dads! I said it once before but I don't mind if you "lose" this because you just build and build upon your losses.... So if anything losing is almost A GOOD THING! Obviously that also depends on if you've made item and dex progress in the meantime.

Pro tip, Water Drain Shellos. Breaks the game if you get the map, cause you can go through the Lake. Which leads to the Construction Site. Which leads to the Power Plant. Or it can sometimes go to the ocean. On evo it gets ground typing and Recover. Add on it's egg move of Freeze Dry and it's chillin through anything. Scorching Sands and Surf do the rest. Beat classic with it, Shiny Starly, Shiny Pichu, Mankey, Sobble. And Rogenrola. Weak Armor's bad until it evolves, then it's good for setting up rocks and exploding. I caught the last two pre-evolved though. Boldore and Inteleon.

Couple things that help immensely with the chafe. Good underwear (I usually go with fabletics lined shorts) and spray on deodorant. It works wonders. Can’t go to Disney without it.

Doubtful you’ll see this but the dads should give Blast of Tempest a try. Great story line and enjoyable show!!

I did a classic run on Monday and not only did I catch two wild shinies, but my RIVAL had a shiny on his team. I've never seen a trainer shiny before, it was pretty cool!

As a yugioh fan, and competitive player, that pot of greed bit hurt from start to finish... It's not even a 50/50 chance due to the banished pile, and taking from your ops hand... Loved the video ether way xD

Watched you guys for years but never tried a fan game until now. Played Pokerogue Saturday after watching your video. First run made it to 25th floor and got a legendary egg. It hatched on run 5 into Articuno. 6th run made it to floor 145 before getting swept by the rivals Rayquaza

Personally I think it would be fair to use a rolled Revive on a Pokemon that fainted in that same battle.

one of the best things to have is a mon with the ability pickup because it steals berries just by being in your party, then during the reward stage use the transfer button to swap the stolen berries to a mon that you want.

Wasn't the majority of this episode on an invalid run? Magikarp water type on Dylan's team, and Popplio water type on Shady's...Granted, they weren't paired with each other, but I thought you could only have one of each primary type between the two teams...😅

It very true when I play pokemon growing up, I did not know what was stab, physical, special was until I started watching Nuzlockes on RU-vid. I started playing PokeRogue and Regigigas (with slow start) was my first legendary egg hatch. I was very lucky however to have hatch more epic / legendary eggs later on in the game (Zygarde, Raikou, blood moon Ursaluna, Terapagos, a manaphy egg, Dratini, Pheromosa, Meltan, Glastrier, Spectrier, Calirex). I encountered + caught Meloetta and Tapu koko (boss battle in really late game and super hard to catch so many rogue balls / resets). I do not play Nuzlocke rules on PokeRogue and I do reset all lot to catch or attempt the battle, but I hope to get better and one day do attempt a Nuzlocke.

Absolutely loving the the pokerouge soul link and yall got me into it, and I got a shiny tapu-koko and bulu; also Link Click is so good but I was not prepared for that trauma when I started watching it.

Rare Candy is kinda bupkus after the 30th floor, I'd much rather get EXP Charms and EXP Alls early. Also, Dylan popping off for catching an easy catch mon is quite humorous. We've all done it when it's a very helpful mon.

After watching my favorite dads on the internet, I decided to try this out and I must say... I AM ADDICTED! PokeRogue is so much fun! I've beaten the classic run a few times now (also failed a few on the final boss lol) But I now know for all my future playthroughs to make sure I have a Ghost type. Curse combined with Protect is pretty much a guaranteed victory vs the final boss.

Man, if you're gonna be walking a long distance, a bit of baby powder between the legs goes a long way. Keeps them dry but gives enough of a buffer so that you're not taking skin off

Also shady I would reccomend Fuecoco, he's not slow, he's faster than a lot of guys, not the fastest by any means, but he also takes loads of hits, and fire ghost is great typing... give him a shot you won't regret it

I managed to get Iron Thorns from an Epic egg and it has been HARD carrying me ever since. He starts with Rock Throw, Thunder Fang and Ice Fang so he has perfect coverage for every starter and is obviously insanely strong

I'm so glad to hear that Shady is watching Link-Click, it's easily my top 5 favorite and it ssoooooooo good

I ain’t going to lie I was a nerrddd when it came to yugiho and Pokémon growing up used to play both card games religiously!! I used to know all terms and cards had a crazy card collection but then started hanging around the wrong crew & they felt that stuff was lame and I fell out of love with them !! Recently fell back in love with Pokemon because of nuzlockes I just think it’s soo awesome & challenging I’ve always loved the video games and I even started a couple of nuzlockes on my channel (but didn’t finish do to technically difficulties)!! I remember yugioh having a ps1 game and it was soo fire I would play that and final fantasy religiously!! I would play Pokémon and Zelda on gameboy cause my cousin had it and he didn’t care about it much so when I didn’t have a console I would just play that!! Man I miss those days!! 🥰💪🏽🙏🏽🫡😇

In my opinion, the six best starters are Meowscarada, Primarina, Skeledirge, Delphox, Cinderace, and Swampert. I've won with all of those multiple times

If you summon Pot of Greed, it allows you to summon 3 additional cards from your deck

I feel like there should be a limit to the amounts of resets you can do per run, otherwise one day it might actually get to easy because you have the optimal set unlocked. Kind of takes the nuzlocke punishing element away from it. We'd play through a game and once we'd both beaten the game we'd do a wi-fi battle to face off. Obviously before wi-fi happened we'd meet up. But we've both been playing pokemon for like 20 years.

Depending on your feet. Your shoes could be the most comfort based shoe, and it can still hurt. You need to be mindful of your arch, toe box, and your bridge!!! You also need about .5 inch in the front if your heel is all the way back! ❤❤❤

I struggled the most in gen5 challenge. Had a cracked conkeldur and excadrill but they just could not carry maan. Belive me or not, in the winning run the MVP was unfezant for its ground immunity and tailwind, and i dropped Conk.

I always ran a special gyarados with like surf, thunderbolt, flamethrower and ice beam before I knew about the physical/special split

I just had a classic run where I caught a shiny kilowattrel, leafeon and iron valliant throughout all 200 floors

When I was a kid I somehow convinced myself that if the pokemon leaned a move by level up it did more damage, and if you used a tm it would always be nerfed, all regardless of the type of move

I think If you want to use Pokemon with high values the other person should be able to bring more Pokemon to pair with a caught Pokemon. Love the content. I just finished my first classic run using a gmax Snorlax, mega Sceptile, and mega Garadose.

i am up to 1376 shinies caught thanks to the shiny events, and i've hatched 41 too. i have a few rare/epic shiny legendaries and probably around 30ish red shinies total (including nacli and mawile) so very cool stuff for me
