The devs really let us know Sable lived in her parents’ basement without actually saying it

Sable is Mikaela’s best friend - she willingly enters the fog to learn what happened to Mikaela and try to figure out a way to get her out. The Unknown is, for lack of a better term, Unknown. It’s some kind of supernatural being that takes the shape of whatever anyone assumes it to be then kills the person trying to define it that way. It’s stuck in this form currently because when the Entity “caught” it, it was taking the form of someone who was collecting information about it and what other people thought it was (government experiment, serial killer, horrible corpse puppeteer monster, steve from accounting, etc.), and she drew a possible connection between it and the mysterious fog that seemed to make people disappear without a trace or smth. So the Unknown comes in, with a fresh new abomination of a form made to kill this lady who’s trying to define it, but before she can open the bathroom door and get killed the Entity pops up and just goes “oh a new one! Yoink” and drags the Unknown into its realm.

fun fact, the "goo" around the new map is actually the entity according to game files, it seems like its growing in power as of recent

Insidious works really well with him. Survivors can't tell if you are real or a hallucination unless they get too close.

Gotta say, after rewatching more videos and then this one, I LOVE the text changes to indicate tones or voice changes. It's such a fun detail and the font changes are perfect visualizations for the weird voices you guys do

I like the fact that sable entered the fog believing she’d be taken to a place like the hardcore horror films she so thoroughly enjoys, only to spend the rest of eternity running around blocks of wood to escape from an undersized plastic ginger who’s throwing out obscenities every other second.

The killer and survivor and the map are so cool, the trailers are one of the best as well. Hope you all watch the trailers, the marketing team knocked it out of the park this time.
