My wife and I were in Albania a week ago, And I have to agree that the people are incredibly nice and will go out of their way to help you. Their driving is insane😮 but they are very nice people.
@@jeffharwood6185 hahaha yes! Driving can be a challenge 😂 but nicest people for sure! They played a big role on why we LOVED Albania so much!! Happy to hear you guys had a nice experience :)
My granny said, want to make god laugh? Say you’ve got a plan. I’m glad it all worked out so well. What amazing scenery and such lovely people. 👏🏻👍🤞✌️🙏
I love how you all share all the real behind the scene stuff. Scooping out water from your kayak, Gordo's "tall people problems", and going on the wrong bus. SO glad you all made it and got to enjoy Shala River!
You have to hear that kayak story in person hahaha and OMG, G has so many tall people problems... poor thing!! I keep saying, being tall is overrated! I've seen it hahaha the world is not built for tall people 🙈
Hi Sally! Thanks so much for the kind words! ❤️ Thanks for supporting our little channel :) And yes, Albania is so so beautiful. We could not believe how beautiful Lake Komani is 😍

Hello Guys i've been thinking to go there with my mates... We are 4 Guys. I'd Like to see shala river and then continue on exploring albania... is a one night sleep over sufficient and worth the Hassle or should you stay at 5 stinet for Minimum 2 nights to make it less hectic? Also what exactly were the tall ppl Problems? Im 6'1... My Mate is 6,3 would kayaking still be fun? Thanks for your real depiction, really helpful
hey dude! if you are not the type to just want to hang out in a chill spot and do nothing, then 24 hrs is enough. but it would be a bit hectic... Our pick-up from 5 Stinet was early morning, so you probably wouldn't have time on the day you check out to kayak to the Shala River. So just consider what time you book your ferry/boat on the day you arrive to make sure it's not too crazy for your travel style to jump into a kayak right when you get there. Alternatively, the hotel can also arrange boat transfer to Shala if you don't want to do the 1.5 hr kayak. Shala River also gets busy during the afternoons - not sure if that's a pro or con for you... regarding tall ppl problems - I am 6'4'' and couldn't fit my legs into the kayak. I still managed by just hanging my legs over the sides... in the end it was not idea, but fine.
I m a solo traveller stopping by Skhoder. I want to bypass the crowd and do a tranquil kayaking at Shala River like yours. Do you have any ideas how this can be arranged?
