On this episode we bought a boat from copart, with out even checking it out. After getting the boat back to the shop we bought a trailer from craigslist and got the boat on there. Then we tried starting the boat with no luck, we found out big problem with the locked up engine. After ordering a new remanufactured engine and installing it, the boat runs great. Thanks for all the support. Enter out giveaway.

Of course it's not damaged Silly, that's how you align the u-joints. Then you crank it over without water to the water pump so it warms up quicker..... What Impeller?? Oh well. And notice the pause at the end then WhaLaa, new motor installed, and they know the importance of water now! Never mind the hidden repair shop in the background😂

Does the Fork Lift damage the Hull underneath? How do they prevent scratches? What about a 28 to 30 ft. boat? How would copart lift it?

Just saw your video. This is not the proper way to remove an engine. 1. Pull of the outdrive. It takes 10-15 minutes max. 2. Don’t unbolt the bellhousing from the engine. Remove the two bolts holding the bell housing to the transom assembly. The engine will lift straight out that way. At this point, it’s too late to change how you revel it. But to reinstall, I strongly urge you to do it properly as it will be much easier. And the exhaust flappers in the y pipe look like they’re shot. Add new ones to the list of parts to replace. And don’t run it with the drive up all the way.

And dude, always pull the outdrive(could be siezed) before trying to turn motor by hand. I've need countless guys say motor was siezed when in fact the upper drive was just rusted and preventing the engine from turning

You guys should watch Mustie, he wouldn't haven't given up on that old engine so easily. You should have put some diesel oil in the cylinders and let it sit for a bit, then try to free it up by working each way by applying torque to the crankshaft pulley bolt.

Its a BAYLINER. My sympathies... Yes, I've owned them. They are crap. The engine is the only value to that boat. The hull is worthless. Cheaply constructed. But, you're happy & thats all that matters. Enjoy.

@@johnwren3976 I have a 2000 19.5 capri 3.0 mint shape under 250 hr , garage kept all it life . i bought it from a 66 year old guy who finally moved up to 34.000 pontoon boat... i have done nothing to the boat but use it and service it .hull still shines interior is mint ,floors like a rock...and still has great looks with the rap around windshield..does 38 mph on the water..sips gas...so my point is not all are shit but the ones that are ,over all the years of this line ,is usually caused by the owners . ps i paid 3k for it . And new sea ray boats and other brands are tipping in at 25 32k for a 19 footer that's nuts for the average guy...i like what the brothers have done , buy old and re-power any make .(owned 8 boats in my life so far..17-30-

Speedo is pressure driven from a hole in the out drive. They get clogged and need cleaning out. That or upgrade to a GPS one. The tach is driven by the distributor. The gauge itself is likely locked up. On the back is a small dial where you can choose if you want v8 or v6. Turn it to v8 and back to v6. It may start working.

Make sure you have the bow touching the spool on the front of the trailer, any bumps you hit on the road can make the boat bounce on the trailer potentially ruining your gel coat or bow. Looks good though!

Niko brothers brought their boat at the same time as the hellcat, they are not like the goonies and being an exact rip off of b is for build, look at the last 3 projects from the goonies, lambo huracan, one off custom supercar(lambo based) and then boat, if you look b is for build released videos the same a few days before the goonies.

I use to live in MARYLAND , very close to the CHESAPEKE BAY. Most people when a BAYLINER appeared, they point and say , oh look...a BAY LITTER. They really are CHEEP BOATS. Good luck.

When running a boat on a hose you should really have the drive a trimmed it down. It is hard on the gimbal bearing and you joins.

You should have pulled the outdrive to change that engine and once engine was installed you need to use alignment tool and I’d of put a new gimbal bearing along with new impeller and gear oil. Do not ever start engine with outdrive up that high

Most likely the starter throw out gear is seized in the flywheel. Should have pulled the starter. Cleaned and lubed it and then try to start it. Could have been a cost nothing fix. Live and learn bros. Nice boat though.

That click that the engine made at the start sounded like a gone starter motor. We had a Johnson motor that did the same thing

As far as boats are concerned Bayliner boats equate too being the bottom of the barrel as far as quality and workmanship is concerned. But for the price you can't go wrong in my opinion.
