We sunk our life savings into a historic crumbling English estate that had been in the same family for more than 500 years. The previous owners were gifted the estate by King Henry VII so we’re only the second owners after the king! We’ve been restoring the estate brick-by-brick for the past five years and do all the work ourselves. With 60 rooms to renovate -- we had no idea what we would be up against!
