We bought a huge archery target from Antler River Archery! gotta love income tax money!!

I made my “larger” target with 3 pads of rebounded mix foam 4”x 72” x 36”; about $64 each;; 2 365 Archery Target replacements $50 each; and some 2x6s; I cut out the foam so that I could insert the 365 target insert replacements embedded into the foam; total was about $500; but it’s a huge target; the foam was able to stop the arrows with no issues at 10 yards

Both of you are commanding your shots. You need to develop a surprise release using back tension if you want to improve.

I've given up on being any good due to lack of practice time so I started making my target bow look hot and I just shoot for fun. Lord bless thanks for the video & verse 🏹🤠👍.

Depending on how much you lowered your bow weight you may need a different spine weight arrows

We got ours from Cabela’s Canada It just clips on your belt or pants on your hip and holds a half dozen arrows nicely! I did end up switching mine out for a nice Hoyt quiver but I still have that quiver and it works like when I first bought it 👍

wind is a real issue, but you have to learn to shoot along with it, because yup there is wind in the woods, field, etc.

“BornAgain Bowhunters”, what a great name! I was pleasantly surprised by the Psalm 34:18 intro to your video. For years I used a 65lb compound bow. Regrettably the years caught up with this old born again dude and I am no longer able to draw that 65 pounder. I am looking at a crossbow just to stay close to the archery thing. I have to tell you, it makes my heart happy to see two young married people such as yourselves having fun together and enjoying each other. That I believe is one of Gods gifts to us. I digress. Great video, good camera control and most of all, great content. May our Father continue to bless both of you. Of course I liked and subscribed, Dha. Lol

The bad thing with "bigger" targets is that they are more expensive, and when you get to a certain point, you have to pay freight shipping/oversize.... they have a whole lot of shipping and taxes too..

We bought this target locally and it’s a very affordable target You can often end up paying almost half the price we did on a much smaller weaker target

@@BornAgainBowhunters I do agree, it's very hard to get a big range type target like you guys did without paying close to 1000 usd, yes I said usd. Here in the U.S., I would have to deal with currency conversion, freight shipping(size of target and possibly weight) and a whole bunch of taxes if I even tried to buy a target from antler river archery or from warthog targets. I still have some options for targets, but I don't have much practice room on my backyard, even though my mother refuses to take me to an actual range. The bad thing is foam targets that would hold the 40 cm face that I need are expensive, getting around 70 usd without even taking into cost of around 15 usd for freight shipping, and another 15 or 20 usd for rest of the order shipping, and a hefty amounts of taxes. I don't like the price tag of the foam targets even though they would be more durable overall...it's really hard for me to find a decent bag target also that doesn't weigh a lot. Yes, I'm 13 and growing and shooting 40 pounds with no broad heads, but hugging along a 30+ pound target (13.5 ish kilos+) is a lot!

@@renatugaming5730 yeah archery can be pretty expensive but we only paid $200 for this target very good deal and I’m sure you can find it cheaper in the US But keep at it! Archery is worth the cost! 🤙🏼
