Whooo Hooo!!! Another Danny post!!! What a cool camper!!! Another great addition to the channel!!! We did not see that one coming!!! Hehehehehe, we cracked up when you said pushing your thirties… I wish I was still in my 20’s 😊!!! Oh wow, agreed. Not sure why the previous owner would use particle board / mdf for a counter. Yikes! You guys made quick work on the demo. Those floor tiles looked like they were just held in place by gravity 😊. It looked original. Do you have any destinations in mind? Most of your adventures on your other channel are on hiking trails. Do you still plan to do those? Can the types of trails you normally tackle support a camper? I am not sure I am asking the question correctly. 😊 Do you plan to use it for a base camp and do day hikes or will you be taking on new types of adventures, suitable for campers. Hmm, I am still not sure I am asking this question right. 😊. There is so much gear available now, you should be able to really improve the quality of your kitchen updates, heating and cooling, 12V lighting, power generators, even entertainment. You can keep the vintage look and enjoy modern technology!!! We cannot wait to see what the rest of your plans are for the remodel!!! Looking forward to episode 2!!! Hope the garden is doing well!!! Be well and stay safe!!!

Yes!! This is something we've kind of wanted for awhile! We were initially looking at teardrop campers, and then we were introduced to the wide world of small fiberglass campers like the Scamp.. and then this one fell right into our laps. Haha.. yeah I've only got a couple of months left of the 20's! All the hiking has caught up with my body this summer, and I keep getting little tweaks here and there. Very frustrating 😂 Yeah I don't quite understand it either.. and why they would tear out the original one to begin with anyways. I'm hoping I can repair it and make it BETTER! Fiberglass is something I've been practicing off camera.. this is going to be an interesting project lol Yes! The flooring was removed in minutes! I absolutely still intend to do the hiking and backpacking trips! When we go on trips we usually stay in campgrounds (like when we did Banff last year and I hiked Cirque Peak). Having something like this will be for base camp purposes for sure, and overall we think it really increase the comfort! We also do yearly camping trips with family at Priest Lake here in Idaho, and would love to have our campsite with our own trailer. 😊 I understood your question! Aha, I don't think this camper will make up any trails unfortunately! We plan on keeping our design pretty off-grid to be honest! We plan on having adhesive puck lights in there for lighting, and I'd love to create a space either in the closet or kitchenette for a battery bank/power station. It's so small in there that I think a centralized location with something like that will be perfect! If you have any ideas be sure to throw them my way! Thanks for the comment my friend! Glad to hear from you the last couple of days!

How did you get the job of holding the camera while Tessa did all the work? That trailer has plenty of room for two and a dog

Haha the cameraman trumps the elbow grease needed for the project. We're hoping it'll be perfect!

Before you go another mile . . . Pull the wheel bearings and at least repack them

Is it one made in Winnipeg or one made in Kansas. I recently bought a 1972 Boler American Wichita. Looking forward to watching your progress 😊

You know I'm not exactly sure. I thought all Bolers were manufactured in Canada so I never thought it could've been made in Kansas. I'm all ears if you know more? Thanks for watching and I'm excited to have you following along on our build!

I love this! My wife restored a 1966 kit companion. It was a fun project.

I'm trying to convince my wife to put a video of the restoration on our channel, but she hasn't gotten around to it yet.

Hi, I can’t figure out how to comment can you help me?

Hi, I am thinking about buying a 1972 Boler. It only has a pump for a sink. I would want to put a city water connection and a holding tank. I would also like to put a 3 way refrigerator. I am a female with limited skills but willing to learn.

Hey there! That’s awesome, you’ll have to keep us posted on whether you decide to get the Boler. It’s been a fun project for us so far, and now that summer has come to a close I’m hoping to have more time to work on ours. One thing that I seen to have noticed is that all Bolers seem to be a little different and unique than the others. However, most Bolers I believe has a ten gallon holding tank for water mounted at the rear of the trailer on the underside. I’m not sure if you knew that or not but it may be worth checking with the current owner to see if it’s there? We have limited skills also, but have kind of dove head first into this project and are learning along the way. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may so fire away! Thanks for watching!
