M113K swap and rwd conversion, would be cheaper than a good M156 and be plenty novelty for a Channel Build. I had mine for a good two years but bought it and immediately did all the achilles heel jobs, head bolts, cam adjuster plates, cam buckets etc. Was an awesome rig but ultimately if I am gonna own an M156, it's gonna be a C63 that I can put a manual into haha. Good luck, I'm sure you guys will figure out something good for it!

This is a tough one because M156 engines are expensive, plus all the deferred maintenance that it needs. But on the other hand, it wouldn’t make much money as a part out because there’s not much of value on a 164 now, even as an AMG. At least if it was an AMG 221 it would be a good part out too. Puts you in a tough spot. It’s probably best as a fixer because it’s not ratty. I’m interested to see what you come up with.

Fix it up and sell it. You won't make money on it if you include labor, but its great content. Would actually be ideal if you can fix the engine instead of replacing it. Plus then I can go hunt one down and fix it up too.

I think thats an excellent parts car, perfect for repsiring other ml that come through the shop, and its a popular colour too. Or you could use it to repair a damaged car

Starting with jokes about the car and how it's always a good sign of maintenance if the undercover is missing, the bolts are overtorqued and the tires from different manufacturers to jokes about who owns how many cars and how many of them are in your yard to who's gonna get out that engine - it just made me laugh 😆 so it really made me comment on this one Keep on going guys and I'm sure with that team and this quality of videos you'll become a quite reputable automotive channel very soon 🙌 Maybe you should consider renaming your channel because due to the search algorithm it is quite hard to find you unless you specify the "werks" at the end, as you get literally 100 million other videos for the search term "dc motor" Best regards from Germany guys 🥨🍺✌

I bought mine for $2500, needed an ISM, 154kmi, looks nearly new, engine runs very well. Owner got tired of dealing with it and left it sitting at a shop for months and finally decided to let it go. I offered $2k, he said $2500, I said DEAL!
