We BROKE DOWN in Cornwall in our Campervan | VAN LIFE 

A suggestion: on the matter of the delay when starting van. My sprinter mechanic stated you need to fir turn on to accessory first. Don’t do a full turn to start.. the sprinter needs a second to run through its system checks first than full turn start. Hope this helps

I love the places y'all are showing us on this trip. Such lovely places Breakdowns and other types of car troubles is why I have AAA (American Automobile Association). That, along with full coverage on my auto insurance, comes in handy for roadside emergencies. I hope the rest of the trip is trouble free

I love seeing all of the little coastal towns you are visiting. I'm sorry the van has caused problems. You had fish and chips you didn't care for; I finally found a great place in St Louis, Missouri, where I live, that has very good and large fish and chips, with vinegar! An Irish Pub! (Sorry but I comment while I'm watching) and I'm seeing you driving on the tiny roads with a bus passing you! Such tiny roads that lead to vacation spots!

In some autos, turning the key and hesitating before starting the car, primes the fuel pump and allows for an easier start.

We did two weeks in Cornwall in August and didn’t get one nice day😮. Not one day where we could sit on the beach. Wind and rain every single day 😂. Good old British weather!

Crantock beach and Perranporth beach are both great places if you get chance to visit. Also over at the Roseland is a must.

If you get the chance to drive near the Elan valley in mid wales, I’d highly recommend that you drive through it. It’s such a beautiful place with the most stunning views.

Love your Cornwall vlogs althou i live down here makes me want to go out and explore lived here for 20 + years , need to get my walking boots on , being a yorkshire lass agree cant beat yorkshire fish and chips . Glad u had a lovely time . Daughter lives in penzance so over there alot and take dog for walk on beach we live in a little village near hayle called Reawla love it down here . All the streets in my area are called after Cornish towns and it’s lovely seeing the places they’re named after!

You guys need to do the Anglesey costal path. We have some amazing views here and great beaches too x

I assume the van is a diesel. It sounds like one. Anyway, I have a diesel SUV and my users manual says to turn on the ignition for 3 or 4 seconds before starting it. It's something to do with "priming" the engine.

You are suppose to let the glow plugs warm 1st which is when the glow plug light goes out then start it

Over 50 yrs ago I've played Domino's my brother and I played with my grandparents in school holidays and I'm sure we started with a double six though I can't be certain. Long time ago now.

Is the delay not the coil heaters warming up. Turn the ignition on and let the orange coil light go off then start her

When you drive down to the south coast to visit Hannah and Mark you should carry on to Hastings then visit Battle the official site of the 1066 battle the history is amazing and the little town of Battle is beautiful

When starting the van you need to turn the key but not the ignition get your seatbelts on and let the glow plugs warm up then start it. 👍🏻

With your scones put cream on one side and jam on the other put them together then cut them in half you both get bottom and top I always like top of a scone but that’s just me ❤
