So I can understand the relief that you are now done with that. Wishing you and Mrs B happiness in the next stage…. contract work maybe, or even better, retirement? Husband and I lived in Winnipeg for 3 years (🥶) as one stage of our global travels. (4 countries altogether starting in Scotland ending in Northern California). Very similar situation as yours just a different industry- lots of mergers and takeovers.

What an interesting and honest blog. Good luck for the future I can tell how happy Max is over you not travelling as much. My hubby is an IT field engineer covering most of the UK and although he doesn't fly he will often have a long drive and has been in more hotels than most will stay in in a lifetime. I do miss him but he enjoys his job and its rarely for more than one or two nights every 2-3 weeks. Although you can keep in touch it is always nice when he is home. Earlier this week after being away for 2 nights on London he was driving home and as I work close to the motorway junction when he came back he parked up on my works car park just to be able to say hello when I came out of work that little bit sooner what a sweetie. You and Max seem to have a great realationship, but I get her joy at getting you (I assume) home more often.

Very dapper hair cut Mr Bazza! My husband travels a lot for work which I love as I get to sleep properly. But we get a lot of BA points……..so mostly we fly Business class to Florida

I worked out very quickly where this video was going!! Hard work pays off and making good contacts along the way is just as important. Travel for business does get tiresome, it’s definitely not what it’s all cracked up to be. Good luck with the next step in your career 🤞🏻

I've often wondered what you did and i still have no clue except that you were very good at it, were since you have retired. which is more than we deserve to know about your personal life so thank you for that! i haven't flown since 1992 i was 18 and headed to a competition from AL to Los Angeles there were 2 earthquake after shocks after the plane took off and then the riots started and then they drug that Denney guy out of his truck like half a mile from my hotel. lol the thing that made the the maddest was that i ended up staying in my hotel room and so i watched tv and the only thing on was 5 channels of the riots and one channel of the Talladega 500 which is the next county over from where i live and we hate it as it brings in drunk crowds of people so i was 2000 miles away and that was my only option for tv! i just had to share that idk y! hahaha

Interesting stuff. Reminds me of Minnesota where we are currently living. Seems you worked hard throughout your life. Know when to stop or ease back. Life is too short. I'm 56 and sort of semi retired. Worked long hours as a CSI in the UK for many years. Now drive a school bus. Meet some great people, including the kids and teachers, and see some wonderful places, especially during school excursions. We are fortunate to own homes in Pennsylvania and Virginia so doing OK.😊

+Barry, I'm from Fort Lauderdale and I'm visiting friends in Philadelphia, and all the trees are green here. This looks like winter in this video in Montreal. Was this in the winter? Why are all the trees dead and it is cold out? It is lovely here right now in Philadelphia with temps in the low 80's (27C)! Must be really cold up there in Canada even in May.
