We broke down in Pass The Picasso!!!
Time for Jon to get out and do some adventures in Pass the High mileage hero Picasso! Join us on this little adventure.. that didn't quite go as planned as we broke down in pass the Picasso but this wasn't the car's fault! After hitting some debris on the A50 we acquired a slow puncture! Thank you to @UPnDOWNVids for ensuring the car had a good spare!

Nice addition to a good car. I was quite pleased that up'n'down went the extra mile to fix the metalwork. Usually this kills mechanically sound cars. Have fun with it 😊.

Great addition upgrading the speakers.The speaker wiring polarity was reversed during original assembly.If I can remember correctly the drivers side and rear passenger side were incorrect polarity.Makes a big difference when corrected particularly to bass notes

To get things in to context that car ( if its still the original engine) has driven to the moon and back roughly speaking.The nearest I got was a 405 xud diesel that finally let go at 250 000 miles after towing a trailer aswell alot with it which I abused weightwise to be honest.I looked after the engine like a new born child but the mains bearings had been rumbling and constantly flickering its oil pressure lamp in its last weeks.Everything went through the sump in the end.

Sad times as the 405 is a lovely machine! It’s insane to think it’s done moon (and back) mileage! I just started it up after 5-6weeks sat and it fired right up! It’s a thing of wonderment 😂

@@automotivetales Thats what I loved about " simple" diesel injection and pump set ups.As long as you keep the oil clean etc etc it the " on" philosphy.The only way to stop them is turn the fuel off.The very modern electronic multiple injection systems maybe be cleaner burning but way too much to go wrong with age.I had a couple of 405,s but the best was the non turbo xud.The other was the turbo xud with lower compression and had terrible lag.It was the non turbo car that racked up 250 000 miles .The turbo xud was prone to head warp as indeed mine did .The normally aspirated however never suffered head issues generally as it was never originally engineered for a turbo but instead compromised by modifying the existing head as opposed to a brand new design from the ground up as it were.
