I was also wondering why you didn't use the front-end loader. I saw where you answered the question before I was asking myself that. That tractor was most certainly buried. Good to see y'all got it unstuck. I bet that is going to be fun when it comes time to cultivate the field.

Lets stick a vastly underpowered tractor onto a huge tank, but we'll stick an extra four wheels on just in case. Then get it stuck and tow it out with a chain that's obviously not up to the job on the first pull or second. Thats like sticking a Massey 135 on a 1500 gallon tank

No way, man! The dude that don’t know how to use reverse needs to have access dug out before the rescue equipment gets there. You are enabling their poor behavior. Stay 8n AZ another week next year? Stay safe. Recovering dairy person in California.
