I love Doug and I definitely wanna see him on the channel, don't get me wrong at all lol. But it seems to me that Gavin's just wayyy happier to be working on cars again on camera instead of being more of like a "supervisor" role. Whether that's really the case or not, I'm just super happy to see him having a ton of fun on camera again. It brings me back to the OG Camaro days :) I still wanna see Doug eventually though, he'll always have job security with Gavin lmao

Because they're really not that fast from the factory because they're so heavy. They're not slow sure, but they're not fast until you put some fuel to em and spin the blower faster with a pulley

Only thing I can suggest for a boost gauge in the interior, either cut a hole out of one of the cupholders, put a piece of plexigass on top and mount it under that so you can still safely put a drink in and still have the gauge or do some sort of mechanism like the C7s have and have the display come down to reveal a hidden compartment and mount all those goodies in there

pretty much. seeing how most hellcats dont make it to 100k miles even stock. honestly i work on these things and the first one ive seen with over 100k is the one on teeth and turbos. i had 2 tore down both were at around 70k miles when they blew the first time. rebuilt and both were in front of me this timewith 150k miles. one blew a fist sized hole on the guy when he went to start it. the other was a doner moter he bought and same thinf second time it blew and it had the worst spun bearings ive ever seen. crazy they are 70k average. i wished and hoped dodge wouldve redesigned it and got rid of all the flaws and redesign for the challeger. now with srt dismantled we will never see that and eventually big heavy v8 hellcats will be replaced by heavier EV powered stuff or more exotic small engines like they did with the alfa rameo

If this were my build id yank the motor and put a dry sump in, that way i could move the charge pipes up into the subframe, less risk of them getting damaged at some point.

I fill the pain of headers my jeep is the same way but I also have to squeze around the engine mount as well. Almost forgot that I also had to feel for the bolt with the wrench because there was no room between the headers and the block
