Locking yourself into outrage when your opponents only Pokémon after the Palkia is a fairy type AND you had other dragon moves is certainly one of the moves of all time
You should do a Ash vs Ash battle where you need to catch the first 6 Pokémon you see that Ash has owned. Or even Pokémon that Ash’s Rivals/Friends have owned.
challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange
I love these so much, I have an idea for one, Cat h 10 random encounters each, then all of them go on a wheel, you both take turns spinning the wheel to see what you get
I'd make it 12-18 catches but they spin on the same wheel Skips can be given depending on the number of catches Because then u have to think so you want to catch lasers in the hope you get them but risk your opponent getting it 🤔
I recommend the Gym Leader Challenge. You each secretly choose a non-Dragon type, then catch the first 6 fully evolved pokemon of that type, then battle.
How about a pokemon stinch challenge. What you think it smells like is how you describe it, and the other one has to decide if they want to choose based off the way they think it smells.
Bro, I love you guys' content. You guys do some of the best randomizer battles and I'm here for it. I'd love to see some more battles where you use items, and I think it would add something if you were able to learn any one move from the pokemon's level-up set on each mon.👍👍👍
Dragonite's design definitely matches with Dratini and Dragonair. It's very serpentine. Contrast that with Gyarados whose body, yes lacks limbs and is blue but that's all its design that matches with the Dratini line. Its sharp angles matches closer in design with Magikarp, which is why I don't believe the sprite swap to be true with those two. (What I do believe, however, is that Butterfree and Venomoth's sprites got swapped)
Gyarados has the same white fins as Dratini. Dragonite has the noodle feelers that Magicard has. My guess is that they didn´t want to make a carp super rare but also didn´t want to make dragon weak, so they exchanged the final evolutions so they could tune the evolution of magicarp a bit down.
@@CyberBlastoise Gyarados has different colored feelers. Also the feelers are arguably the most notable feature on both Magicarp and Dragonite while those on Gyarados are barely noticeable.
@@lennartstockl5826 what are you talking about? They're one of the biggest parts that extend out from Gyarados in Gen 1. In addition look at the designs. Dratini and Dragonite have the same segmented patterns on their bellies in RBY, they also have the same facial structure. Gyarados does not share the same design structure beyond lacking limbs and being blue.
A funny challenge would be randomized starters and the other person get all 3 names to choose from. The twist here is they get no other info before the battle. So no moves no abilities before the battle. And they will have to come up with their starts in the heat of battle
Gyrados is based on a Chinese mythology where karps jumps over a gate/waterfall and turns into a dragon… it always made sense to me… surprisingly how much culture differences can affect people.
I want to see a legendary no skip challenge where you have to use the Pokemon in order of the catches and you don’t see the moves/stats until you use them in battle. Completely blind challenge
I would love to see the next tier down of pokemon used in a challenge, say 500-569 bst. Cant use legends or pseudo, but there are some really good and strong pokemon in that range
Would love to see a mid stage vs where y’all can use any random move the mon can re learn at the PC You Can eviolite all your mons for extra beef if needed
This was legit such a good video. I love battles like this where you try and use more strategy. Do a video where a couple of your monsters get random items
Maybe do a high or low challenge. Encounter random pokemon and use the average pokidex number and the other person has to guess higher or lower (the pokedex number). If they guess wrong they have to take the pokemon
Challenge idea! Wheel of animals! 30 minutes to catch as many Pokemon as possible! You each spin the wheel and can only catch the animal you land on! There’s lots of animals and I would consider dragons and fairies their own animal categories! Dogs/Cats/Fishes/Reptiles(snakes,lizards,crocs)/Hooved animals(horses, cows, buffalo, donkeys)/Rodents/Dragons/Fairies
Challenge idea, you each spin a wheel of all types 4 times at the start, these are the types your arent allowed, then you get a set amount of time to catch your team, 1 legend max on team.
Next challenge: You spin a wheel to choose a Pokeball. Whatever ball it lands on you must use that ball to catch a Pokemon that matches at least 1 or more of the colors on that ball. You can only use one. (Ex. Clefable - Heal Ball)
Hey chillin, great idea for a new year video, do a chinese new year video where you guys have to use the animal zodiacs to catch your pokemon, basicly theres a few animals that all represent a bunch of the pokemon, so the first one you see you guys catch it and cross it off the list. At the end you then pick who you want and fight.
"Stakataka is top ten defensive" lol physically it's only behind the gimmick wall which is Shuckle, and two Megas, which can hardly count since they don't exist anymore. Also fun fact, Archaludon has a BST of 600 but it doesn't have the "three stage" requirement of other pseudos. Since "pseudo legend" is a fan-term which had the prerequisites of 600 BST and 3 stages, whether or not its a pseudo is debatable. Speaking of Megas, I hope some future videos are done in gen6-gen7 so Megas are an option.
Presents for pokemon: catch a random team and randomise 6 item shops. Buy one item from each shop for your pokemon. If one shop sells tms, you can teach one to a pokemon.
Fun fact: Both Gyarados and Dragonite are based off Chinese legends. Magikarp: Is based off the legend of a carp jumping over the dragon gate to become a dragon. Dratini: is based off the legend of how serpents can evolve into dragons. It first must become a python. Then an anaconda. Then a dragon. Both should have been eastern dragons, but apparently, they wanted a western dragon design to appeal to the Western world. Dragonite was the one that got it between the two.
Could do a video where you each get to catch a certain number of random encounters with randomized moves and abilities and after everything is caught, you can manually reassign abilities/moves to build the best team possible. Maybe you got a great BST mon with no moves and a bad ability, but if you got better alternatives on something else, you can fix that. Or a special mon with physical moves can swap with a physical mon with special moves.
Love the vids.. here’s a cool idea for a video: 30 minutes to catch 6-9 Pokémon of your choosing. After the 30 minutes you spin a wheel to do something to the OTHER teams Pokémon. Some ideas.. - can’t use first move for battle - take two Pokémon and swap for two of your choosing. - can’t use a random Pokémon To determine spins - for each baby/ non legendary you pick you get a spin. For each legendary/ mythical etc you give the other person a spin.
The whole magic harp into dragonite thing is actually incorrect due to a Chinese myth that they were based on. If a snake is able to live for a 1000 years a pearl will drop from the sky and if it catches that in its mouth then it becomes a dragon. Hence the little orb around their neck
Oh i got an idea. Not sure if you have done it before. you catch one pokemon on each route. you choose to skip or take then go to the next route. You get 2 skips.
Video idea: Fishing Tournament Do rounds of both of you fishing. Whoever catches the heaviest or longest pokemon gets to pick which of the two caught pokemon they want to keep for their team. 6 rounds (9 with skips) Evo or no.
Here's an idea for a video. Babies Only. Catch the first 6 baby stage pokemon you see, then evolve them to their highest evolution and check their moves and ability then you battle. Maybe allow up to 3 skips or not
