Hi Philly, hope you are well. It's actually been a fairly dry day here in North Yorkshire, which is unusual to say the very least! Hope all is coming along okay with Marie and she is feeling like she is in a better place. The most recent music evening I went to was a Glam rock evening. They were a fantastic band who did everything from Slade to David Bowie. For me, the really interesting thing was, one of the main singers was Brian Connolly Jr. His dad was the lead singer of The Sweet, who were huge during the early to mid 1970's. Well, Brian Jr did not disappoint, he put on an amazing show, in fact the whole band were fantastic! A Tuesday treat for us from Sarah, 2 stellar performances, does it get any better?? I don't think it does Philly! Dave

Hi, Dave.It's so good to hear from you.I know the weather.It's not too cheery on the other side of the pond, Fortunately, we have had 2 days in the mid-seventies here in new jersey Sunny and warm. Our friend Gary in North London told me today that it was hailing wow. So Glad you enjoyed the music venue. Marie is getting around. She is able to drive now.Thank you for asking. We had 2 great songs today from Sarah. We went from The Beatles to Frank Sinatra. Doesn't get much better than that. Everything else is pretty good Dave, Always great to hear from you. Philly 👍

Dave, you have wonderful taste in music if you listen to The Beatles or their solo work every day. Remember every single was a tsw "two- sided winner". The radio stations would play both sides as each song was a huge hit. I think Day Tripper was on the flip side of this song. Between Sarah, The Beatles, and solo work. This is the most awesome music you could listen to.

​@@garryford1216Hi Garry, great to hear from you. Well we are both Beatles fans and I think I am correct in saying that they are your favourite band. I really can't overstate just how important the Beatles are in the in the music world, their evolution as a band was staggering. All the 45's that they released were effectively double A sides, your totally correct in your comments, the Radio stations could not get enough of the Fab Four! Always enjoy reading your comments Garry, you have a huge knowledge of music and I often pick up new snippets of information from your comments. As for Sarah, she really is an incredible singer, her vocal range really staggers me, she can sing anything, as you say Songbird! Hope your day has been a good one Garry. Best wishes Dave

Sarah's Dad Phillip and yours are the ones I can relate to the most. I was fortunate enough to see Paul in 1976 with Wings. I also saw him in concert in 1993 when he toured with Hamish Stuart, Wix Wickens, and Robbie McIntosh. I saw George Harrison in 1974 with the Dark Horse tour. I live 40 miles west of Chicago, so I was close to great concerts. You are correct in saying, my favorite band was The Beatles. There will never be a band that shaped the world of music as they did. And to think they did it all in about 6 years. I would love to hear Sarah sing the complete Beatles catalog. Sincerely, Garry
