Thanks Jonathan. I'm currently finalizing the foundation and MEP plans (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing). That's why I haven't uploaded in a few weeks. But once I get these plans finalized, I can submit them to the building department to get the building permit. New videos coming soon!

What did you use to draw the plans? Did you make a video of you designing your home?

@@exclusivelynyc I myself made a 3D model using SketchUp. I believe the structural and MEP engineers I hired to do the actual 2D building plan drawings used AutoCad. However, the SketchUp model I created can be converted to AutoCad and I created my 2D architectural drawing from the 3D SketchUp model. Haha thanks Mario, I think he'll appreciate it. He's a hardcore handyman, loves fixing things (which is why I gotta reign him in a bit otherwise he might build this whole container home for me -- can't let that happen!! 😂😂)
