Choosing all starters is such a fun concept, I liked the execution on this! I'd also be interested to see a 'We dont choose all 3 of our starters' where you have to flip a coin/roll a dice to see which mon you get the ability/tera type or body or moveset from.
Agreed really enjoyed this one, the thing is rolling would lengthen the video slightly which is good. Rolling can also mid agate to many broken Pokémon by saying 1-5 opponent picks the entire combination 6-10 opponent chooses one of them and how you use it as in moveset, body, or ability and if you high roll you get to just combine them how ever you want much love great video ❤
Cool concept but honestly I think it’d be cool to see this reversed… opponent picks the combo, it’d would allow for a wider variety since the “bad” mons would actually be used
Fun fact about Koraidon: its regular ability, Orichalcum Pulse, gives it a 33% increase to its Attack Stat while the sun is up. So it basically has a built-in Protosynthesis anyway
This really was a great concept Patterz. The only one of your choices I second guessed was not giving Donphan dreadnaw's move set and made a shell smashing donphan
Honestly I’d love to see a version where it’s all or nothing. You get 6 save files as per usually but you have to pick all 3 starters. So you may have an Arceus, a flamigo, and a venomoth as your starter choices for example, and you want Arceus you have to add all 3 to your team. And if you think it’s not worth the risk, you have to skip out on that save file, and move to the next. And if you haven’t picked your team by the 6th save file you automatically have to take it
@@tristarnova3454 yeah, I’m saying they have to pick 3 starters from a save file, which means they’d have to pick 2 save files. So like if you only have picked one save file and it’s the 6th round they’d HAVE to pick those starters
Matcha is Chinese, dates back to the Tang Dynasty around 7-10 AD. Looking for an easier way to transport green tea they came up with the clever workaround of a powdered version mixed with salt water and turned into 'bricks'. Granted most Matcha comes from Japan nowadays, it wasn't introduced to Japan until about the 12th century at the latest. We all learned something today lol
You should do this again, but whoever is getting the pokemon can choose 1 as Ability, Body, Moves, and your opponent gets to pick how the remaining two are used.
My new favorite “Then we battle” concept! It’s really unfortunate that the Zekrom combo was so easily defeated, but given the fact that you were facing Luke, you were doomed from the outset.
This concept is amazing. If you were able to implement model fusions of all three starters, like you use to in Sword and Shield, then this would just amplify this coolness of this idea. If only it was possible to
Man I really thought Patterz ZekQuaza with Adaptability was gonna be trouble. And then I realized Luke has that Coin Flip Gamble Luck and pulled the 3 Poke Gods of the Modern Generations.
Honestly this concept is cool, using all 3 pokemon. Now to do the same but have lady luck take the wheel. Rolling the dice or spinning 2 wheels (one with 1, 2, 3 or left, middle, right and another with body, ability, moveset xD) to see what the mix will be xD. I am honestly surprised with the Drednaw pick for ability instead of Moveset, it gets Shell smash, Earthquake, Liquidation, also dragon tail (for some reason, eventhough it's negative priority, but if can swap out set-up mons). Pawmot doesn't has many great ability, but it get's natural cure to cure burn if it would happen or as a Pawmi it has static.
I like combining all 3 mons, but it would be cool to have them also change color so they look messed with. Maybe have some secrets too so your opponent doesn't know anything but the body shape and colors and they can be surprised
A fusions would be nice, like 3 out of 4 moves have the be from the fusion, any ability and type combo of the 3 and 2 stats for each pokemon. I wonder if picking the mons best and worst stat would make things interesting? 🤔
SHARK TANK Challenge. One of you offers the other a pokemon from randomized starters, without revealing what it actually is. You have to make a good pitch to offer that pokemon (good or bad) to the other person.
An idea for a TWB video. Use scrabble letters for a point system using the first letter of each starter, and then use a point buy system for upgrades/debuffs.
I hope we see this one again but this time each player gets to flip a coin to see if they can pick their opponents Pokémon instead (like change the move set mon or something)
I'm so glad liquid ooze ho-oh got its liquid ooze off cause to me sticky hold was the obvious choice but patters never set up rocks or clicked knock off so liquid ooze ended up being better
