What if modify a regular motorized sled into an electric drive? The result is in this video! Instagram: / reviewmachines FaceBook: / reviewmachinesworldwide #atv #motorsled #snowdog
"the only issue in my mind is range" well yeah.....but look at all that damn space you have....fill that with batterys! or even have hot swapable batterys so you effectively double range with almost no drawback.
Interesting project. As a range extender, why not fit a friction generator to charge the cells while its moving long and also a solar panel. Talking of range, how many Kilometers does it do at the above freezing temperature and then at the below freezing temperature?
thats a big battery! its really interesting, I like the heating panels inbetween battery cells. The cost is high, but that'll come down in time, you guys need some snow! we've not had much in Canada this year either.
Might help the electric one to add some weight to it. Might get better traction. I have an electric snow blower and I had to add sandbags to it because it was too light.
@@RMW probably right...i have a friend here with 14,000 watts...petro is energy dense and constantly being created contrary to what tHEY want us to believe...always look forward to your vids brother...doug
i would like to know what the weight difference between the 2 models was. eventually someone's going to be lifting into the back of a pickup to take it somewhere...that's where i think the cordless will shine!
Can you mount an old style generator to the trailr axles to augment pwr supply to the drive batteries? And is a removable solar panel powerful enough to trickle charge the batteries when out on the frontier.?
