**This adventure was filmed in early March of 2020.** Was this one crazy day or what!? Make sure you’re following us on Instagram to see some of the incredible photos we took during our trip in Oman! instagram.com/theendlessadventure/
What's the advantage of Instagram, in a nutshell? A friend set an account up for me about 18 months ago because she's a social media addict. We both have small businesses...but I've just never used mine...
My work sent us home for quarantine on March 16th.... crazy remembering how the world was in early March and before. Feels like im in a different country now
@Gaven Miller hot season is from May to September but there are some places in Oman in Summer times still the weather is very nice, Salalah, Jabal Alakhdar and South cost.
Hey my husband & I really love your videos! The sand dunes look epic! We noticed Eric skipped your hosts talking about their culture as it would be too long - we don’t mind longer videos & would love to learn a little more about other cultures. Maybe next time leave it in? Love you!
ERIC seems to be a very nice chap indeed just by watching this video i can see his approach and his persona towords other people and other races and religion. He is polite with good morals and appreciates all the good hospitality he recieves, his parents have done a good job
I've never been interested in traveling to the Middle East (and certainly not driving over sand dunes) because it seems so intimidating. I appreciate this series in that it is introducing me to a part of the world that I may have previously overlooked and giving me the inspiration to travel there! Can't wait to see more great footage (hopefully more camels!) of your trip to Oman! 😍😍😍
Had a neighbor whose daughter taught in Oman. And she wound up rescuing several beautiful "sand dogs" who'd had horrendous stories (cruelty beyond belief! One had a pistol shot down its throat!), and she brought them back to the USA to survive and thrive...thank God for a happy ending! Always love watching your fantastic adventures, so interesting and your personalities and chemistry is the best! Thank you!
We held back on watching this series until we could watch it end to end. What a great tonic for relieving the stress of this lockdown. Your contagious spirit and fabulous smiles have lifted our spirits and warmed our hearts with this series. As always, your videography continues to climb higher and higher on the scale of perfection. Thank you so much for all your effort in this most difficult time. ❤️❤️❗️
That wind is called the Shamal it blows to the east. It was not a sandstorm you know one of those things when you see one. Love this channel. Stay safe guys.
I lived in Oman for 9 years, Muscat, Nizwa and Duqm so glad you showed the beauty of Oman, not cheap but so so worth a visit. Should have gone down to Duqm amazing place. Love your content.
Really enjoy your videos, you two. Personal opinion, probably one of your better videos because you were able to get so much more into the culture. Met the locals, shared their authentic food. Got to be a guest in their home with their home cooking. Participated in their customs (four-wheeling through the desert and over the dunes) with personal, local guides. For this video-traveler, that's what I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing this. Just to echo Jennifer Phillips, long discourses about their culture would be a plus; I'd watch it.
This video made me so happy!! I lived in Oman for four months and spend the night the the dunes with some Beduin people and other friends! I love this country so much and the people of Oman are wonderful and so kind!! Miss it very much! So glad y’all got to go! Looking forward to the rest of your videos!
Amazing!! It did not seem that long ago when you guys had the drone over a sea of palm trees lushness in Siargo Island. Now here you are in a barren landscape of sand! So remote, and so incredible. Thank you so much for helping us travel lovers get through this lockdown with your wonderful vlogs. Stay healthy and safe!!
Whewwwwww!!!! 😥 That introduction had me. That drone footage was awesome! I could picture all of the Instagram opportunities. Can't wait to see the rest of the Oman series! 😎
This is totally a fun vlog! You are one of the few travel vloggers I follow and one of the few that I really look up to. I'm so motivated to continue uploading my backlogs. This pandemic couldn't stop us from making content!
Hello travelers......I started with your first videos and have greatly appreciated and enjoyed your travels all over the world. You two are wonderful to share time, space and adventures with. Thank you. It may not seem important to all, but the ways you introduce the names of the places you are in are ingenious and I look forward to your imaginative ways to show those in every episode.
This is amazing! It brought back wonderful memories of my time traveling through the desert in Morocco! It's so true that you end up with sand EVERYWHERE...even in places you didn't know existed. LOL
Where was your sunglasses....in that sandy wind flow.....i love both.... you guys are so amazing.......❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ And may that holy cow bless you both😁😁😁
The music, the footage, the adventure were all insane! I think this was your best video. One can tell that you put so much effort and enjoyed every bit of it. Loved it!
Awesome travel inspiration here! How dope is it to drive on the desert?! Oman has always been on my bucket list. Hopefully I can add this amazing place to my itinerary in the near future 🙌👍🗺🐪
Another great vlog guy's. In these difficult times it's always great to get a vlog from a brilliant couple as always you bring a smile to my face. Keep safe.
We loved living in the Middle East and are excited to see the things you are doing. I agree that the food is amazing! My favorite drink to drink was lemon mint and I have yet to find it made the same back in the US. Your videos are making my long days as an Emergency Nurse better. I get to forget about everything and just enjoy! Thanks for another great video!
Loved the intro music. So much fun on the dunes! Eric you did so good traversing over the high points. I was brought up in the Mohave Desert, so we did a lot of racing on the sand. It really is easy to flip over, and we did, many times. Can't wait for more adventures. It's so nostalgic! And about that sand, it's so fine it gets into every body part and I swear you"ll never forget how it feels!
Oh my gosh guys, this is incredible!! What a true adventure, we would absolutely love to give this a go. Will definitely check out Nomad Tours, can't wait for the next video 😁
One of the secret of Omani hospitality that they left you alone while you are eating, it might be a sign of disrespect but we do it to let the guest feel comfortable, not shy and they can eat as much as they can.
Oman is beautiful! So clean. Loved my trip there, also went to Dubai and Abu Dhabi which are also amazing. Dubai is definitely a city everybody should visit once. Seeing the police drive Lamborghini’s
the word coffee is actually derived from Arabic word _qahwa_ only, it came from Ethiopia by an Arab farmer _Khhalid_ who made it from seeds transferred to Yemen then we got a _qahwa_ then _kahve_ in Turkish then café, cafè kaffe then finally a coffee. (short history)
oh wow you guys, I feel like I keep commenting the same thing every video but man, the quality of this video! You guys should have a TV show, this looks so professional. 19:30 min? where did that go, it literally felt like 5. If you're ever thinking about releasing a 2 hour long travel doc, I'm your girl, I'll get the popcorn! So engaging! Can't wait for this situation to be over and you guys back on the road! wishing you all the best!
Omg my husband would not be allowed to drive through that desert. He wouldn't listen to the guides and wind up flipping us for sure! My anxiety level would be peaked until the picnic lol I drove through Death Valley once and that's all the desert experience I have, really, so I enjoyed all the factual tidbits you included. What amazing foods they prepared at the tent, too! Everything looked delicious.
Love your guys videos, they always put a smile on my face. You guys have even inspired me to start my own RU-vid channel with quick and effective workouts!! 💕✨
Amazingly beautiful episode! Crazy how in the middle of this vast desert you have a exotic gourmet meal. Always love your editing but, have you ever seen the Hans Bacher cinematic book? Your framing reminds me of your scenes. Wonderful share, James and Kim
Don’t really know much about Oman or Bedouin culture so this was a real treat. Would love to experience driving over the dunes but I would definitely be the passenger haha. I got second hand anxiety when you guys went sideways
Such a fascinating video! As someone who feels uncomfortable if I can't see a tree I doubt I'll ever go to the deserts - I can't drive for a start; so I do so appreciate you taking us on your travels and sharing all you experience! It means a lot! ;)
Great video, and what an incredible trip!! I recently visited a bedouin Nomad camp in Israel, and absolutely LOVED the experience! I think I would be able to spend years with them! 1-10 how would you rate your experience? haha
I’m working through all your videos (just finished your food vlog in St. Louis). I’d love it if you’d do another q&a! My two questions are Why did you decide to be vegetarian and then why did you decide to stop being vegetarian? Also, I’d love a tattoo tour (show the tattoos and explain what they are and why you got them). Loving watching your journey over the years!
Thanks for the vicarious adventure! From the time you arrived at the snack oasis, through your authentic desert lunch, to your 4x4 dinner, I needed the answer to one question: bathroom?
RU-vid just recommended you to me. I'm trying to see many countries on RU-vid, and I automatically Like a video when it shows me a new country. Your channel has six new countries for me, which are Estonia, Latvia, Luxembourg, Oman, Romania, and Sri Lanka. I am a soccer fan. FIFA is the world governing body for soccer, which they call football. They do not require members to be independent, so all four parts of the United Kingdom are members, which lets FIFA has 211 members, which is more than the United Nations. Thanks to you I reached 100 members of FIFA seen on RU-vid.
