Y'all are some AMAZING parents! Little girls always want a puppy or kitty but the girls that always dream of a horse just have a different kind of bond with that animal! I was just like Layla growing up. I always wanted a horse but it never worked out. My husband and sister together just made that dream come true for me almost a year and a half ago. I now have my dream...a chestnut and white paint mare! Layla is so fortunate to have you to fulfill that dream for her and I am sure that is something she will always smile back on as she grows up. I couldn't help but cry when she got out of the car and realized her dream had come true and hearing her saying she didn't need anything else! My heart melted!

Congratulations on your horse! ❤️ Never give up on your dreams. I have a very similar story. Growing up I always loved horses. Read every book about horses I could find and would save my lunch money to go rent a horse to ride for an hour. I was 42 years old when my husband bought me my first horse. I told him there was nothing in this world that he could buy me that would make me any happier. I'm now 67 years old and I still have that horse. She's now 28 years old and retired. A year and a half ago I bought another horse and I'm still riding. Still living my dream.

So sweet! My parents got me a horse for my 8th birthday and we grew up together! She passed away with her head on my lap! Those memories are precious! The best thing for girls is a horse!

Incredible values in parenting. Great parents. I would confidently say in the top 10% of best parents in the US. Paying attention to your kids instead of saying you pay attention to your kids is something most parents just dont do anymore. Love yalls dam!

Creating life long memories. My wife had a horse when she was young and talks about it often still today, 60 years later. Wow, a lot of changes--Abe Lincoln beard and shorter blonde hair. Happy New Years to you guys too.

Congratulations on the newest member of your family. I know it’s your daughter and you’d do anything to keep her safe, but even riding around the house she should wear her helmet! I know, none of my business, but I’d hate to see your little angel fall and not have her helmet on.

Yep, you're right about wearing a helmet. I always wear a helmet when I ride. Many years ago my riding instructor said to always wear a helmet, brains and dirt don't mix. 🙂
