@@jamesmarkley1860 I generally refrain from engaging in discussions like this on YT. But simply put I enjoy it because historically and statistically African Americans don't own yachts . In all my years around boats up and down the east coast I can count on one hand how many yacht owners of color I have met or seen. So to see someone who looks like me purchase something I see as aspirational gives me joy ....
Your video came across my feed and I just had to subscribe!!! This is what my husband and I aspire to achieve as well!!! 5 year plan- rent our house out, move out of Atlanta, head to FL build a home and have a boat 😊
Congratulations on your new yacht 🛥️ I’m so happy for you brother!! Also happy seeing a different skin color enjoying the outdoors life on the water. Maybe one day we’ll link up when God bless me with mine 😊God bless.
I find the people who are boat enthusiasts are just like gun enthusiasts. They just start quoting different models and options, giving ever serial number and control number to every part 😂. Information overload. 😂
Sorry, just seeing this. I didn’t do a fly bridge because I don’t like to wait at bridges. It can be a real pain when you’re trying to get somewhere and can’t leave the intracoastal
I don't want nor do I need a boat of this size, BUT for YOU my brother I am jumping for joy at your purchase. All of us crabs are not pulling at the coat tails to remain in the bucket, but some of us are pushing for our fellow brothers and sisters to be enlightened and excel. As for me, happy and excited for you brother and many blessings to you and your family.
Congratulations brother! I plan on buying a yacht once I retire in a couple years. I’ve watched dozens of yachting RU-vidrs over the past few years and yes you are the first brother I’ve come across to have a RU-vid channel dedicated to yachting. Subscribed! One of the most important things you’ve shown in your video that I haven’t seen anyone else do is film the learning process of getting to know your yacht’s functions. That eliminates a lot of questions many viewers would have as well as not know to ask about. Thank you and perhaps we’ll run into each other sometime in the future.
@Black Boater - Sincere congratulation, dear sir! My wife and I are looking at a yacht. Hope to have the privilege in meeting you and family in the near future. Happy sailing!
All the way from Stony Creek Hamilton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 I just wanted to say that this was refreshing to see!!! Congratulations on your purchase and I just subscribed!
Congratulations, you are an inspiration! I’m considering buying (as a single woman) a used 36 or 40 footer this winter. The research I’ve done so far show the best deals seem to be in Florida. If you have any tips to share about what to look for in a used boat, please do. You are an inspiration🙏🏽
Congratulations my brother I know the feeling, purchased my first boat 8 months ago, 38 footer and we are enjoying it Not a yacht but very close Be safe and enjoy yourselves
Congtrats. Man I’m jealous. I live in s. Fl on the water. The first shot of the boat running is right near my place. Working up to a 50+. It’s like a whole Apartment on the water. Where is home for you?
Thank you for this video. This inspires me I am aimimg towards getting a boat. I am certainly going to reach out and join your group before I get one. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
I was just telling my guy u don’t see no brothers with boats just Hispanics and or course yt folk. This is phenomenal plus u giving me the extras. I’m out here in Baltimore , but I’m always in Annapolis n DC U see the same shit yt folk n Hispanics. I love how your breaking it all down Congrats!!!
Thanks for watching. I have some friends who boat in the Annapolis area. In Annapolis, there are quite a few Black boaters there who have raftups all the time. Baltimore even has a group of Black Boaters. You can look them up on FB. Seem to be real good people.
This is a great channel. I’m starting a channel called White Scuba Diver. Because race is very important as it applies to our hobbies and recreational activities.
This video is great but I really like to hear the conversation the surveyor is having over the music. Just an observation. Thanks for sharing as I’m Black Boat Owner as “.510 Searay Sundance.

congratulations, beautiful boat. Hopefully you're an experienced operator, the pods are great for control and performance, but they have no protection so a log or even a soft grounding could rip one off and sink the boat. Just a word of caution, in no way wishing anything bad. Enjoy her, nothing better than traveling by water, most all boaters are friendly, good people.
