Thanks for the tree explanation. I do a little digging here in the uk and i try to dig around the roots. We have a lot of ancient woodlands so our trees are precious. Obviously i cant dig on your scale! Also where I am now, there is a sign saying if you get caught bottle digging you will be fined $20,000!!! Keep up the great work.

I"ve always been into rocks and fossils but what you guys are doing is amazing, I remember my dad uncovering what they figured was an old outhouse while digging for the new courthouse in Bottineau, in the 70"s, brought home a bunch of old medicine and whiskey bottles. I still have a couple in a box somewhere. Waiting for the ground to thaw out up here in North Dakota so I can give it a try. Keep up the great videos.

Guys if the wind starts blowing get out from under that tree it might blow over you guys are crazy love it keep digging your next shovel might uncover lots of money! You know there was all kinds of valuables buried to keep it safe than the guy dies and nobody knows where it's buried at then it's finders keepers!

Me an my aunt was looking for old bottles.back in the early 70s in North ga.we went too a lot of old home places that were around 1800.mountain home places. Some dating back too 1840s we never dug deep mostly 1 or 2 ft. But we found several old bottles.an left a lot that are valuable now.people thought we wwere crazy.I guess we were ahead of our time.
This video was great. You guys getting excited gets us excited, it’s like a cliffhanger because you tell us “we got a bottle showing” then you bring us down there and pull the bottle out. That’s the coolest waiting to see what it is. Thanks for the great video’s!
I just wanted say I really enjoy watching your videos, been watching for a long while just not much for commenting . I never really thought about antique bottle until I watched your videos. I wish I knew about them when i was a kid because we had dumps out where we used to live in the sticks, maybe could of found some. lol
Yall guys are awesome. I'm a start doing some privy digging on a ton of permission I got around here... where I metal detect... and that's bc I watch yall and yall have a blast. I doubt I'll have any of though rare Hutchinson yall digging here but maybe I'll find an old colonial bottle or something idk.. keep it up
So glad you addressed the tree issue, but 50% is a bit risky, there should be a balance between top and bottom, the tree would fare much better if you trimmed away some branches. The rule is never pruning more than one THIRD of the tree mass. But thanks for giving it some thought. Whenever the roots are exposed to air they are damaged.
