I just want to say you guys rock! Love your content, but even more I love your awesome attitude and that you are out there doing it and experiencing life! Thanks for sharing - the things we have done bring nostalgia, the things we haven't done (yet) brings new goals. Huge admiration.
I've lived in this area since birth and I think I take it for granted. Such a pretty area. Thanks for showing it with such excitement. Keelan, never stop being a kid. I'm almost forty and get upped by the wife daily for my immaturity.
Awesome episode as always guys. Daintree is right up on our list too. What a stunning place. Also that barra(cuda) is a sign of things to come fishing wise.....one day haha
Great video. Glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Daintree Siesta. Will recommend your video for those who want to know what the road is like if towing once your cross the car ferry.
Another great episode Sarah & Keelan, only been up there once… so it’s great to experience it through your travels. Protect yourselves from mossy bites, they can infect you with illnesses that last years! I’m loving it. Keep on enjoying. 👫🌴
Bruh, when you were saying Bara.. I thought you were talking about a barracuda. Everytime you said "in the jungle" I kept on singing in my head " the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight.. AWWWEEEEEEOOOWEEBAMBABOWEEHHH" Rub some Vicks vapor rub or icy hot on them tackle box and I guarantee you'll forget about the Redness 😅 Solid racing dive btw. Pro swimmer over hereee! Ps. 12.22.93 happy birthday Sarah🎉
You guys got a big shout out from Liam Duggan on todays episode of “The 4wd podcast” sounds like he was a big fan of Percy!! 😍You know you’ve made it when Duggo and Ronny Dahl are name droppin ya!!! Keep up the good work you guys, we love your work!
haha thanks for bringing that to our attention mate! two absolute gurus! feels good to be a west coast supporter haha cheers Justin thanks for watching legend!
I lived where you are fishing on the Mowbrey River, you are one very lucky man to be standing down where you are at water level . You most definitely would have been sized up for a meal given Feral pigs are done like you are along there every day of the week. Lucky boy you are Fella.
Mate be careful that river and all the rivers up there have crocs, don't ever fish when the water has a deep drop off, I want to see you keep making videos,
I reckon that fish may have been a pike, rather than barracuda, but lots of snapping handbags in that river!!! What was the rod and reel combo you picked up out of interest? Loving watching your travels, we're up there in 2 weeks! Can't wait
Hey guys, I was in Port Douglas with my wife and two kids about a month ago and we went up to cape trib for a day trip (awesome place). On the way back I thought I saw you legends drive the other way and I was spewing that it was a quick fly by on the highway, would've been good to have a beer with you guys. Maybe another time 🤙 Tassie boy by the way!
The Daintree is awesome isn’t it You’d of been fine taking the van to the Lions Den with the 200 But I do recommend low 1st on a couple of those hills😉 The Pizzas at the Lions Den are fantastic Thanks Sarah for keeping him in line, fact checking and grammar check 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing a other fantastic episode really enjoyed it. Sorry mate I’m not sure myself on that fish you court I have never seen one before. That rain forest looks amazing. So looking forward to seeing you both next Friday night for the next episode
We have croc photos at that exact spot where Keelan caught the Barracuda. We were there Dec 2020 and 2 large crocs were right in front of the log that Keelan was fishing from. Not sure how to attach the pics to this but would love to send them to you
Too often in the western US the water in campgrounds is not the best. We live in the forest and have a well that produces excellent quality water. Our travel trailer carries 60 gallons of water and with a composting toilet we can stay off grid for a long time. How did the star link work in the rainforest?
