Dude Dora always has the highest amount of deaths, it's like he just gets so tunnel visioned that he can't think at all and just keeps doing the same thing again and again and again
lightning starts and dora and simon dont notice anything. simon comments on the lightning and they still dont notice. sky turns red and they still dont notice. they get spit on by birds and zombies start running everywhere and dora says its night time.
If it's a horde night, it literally doesn't matter if he shoots a gun or not. The zombies that are sent after you during horde night don't care about heat (noise) and know where you are at the moment they spawn, it was just a matter of them getting lucky with the current wave spawning after Neebs and Appspro.
@@ExImperialDragon Unless the mod changes it when you die the horde stops. It will then continue if you reactivate by alerting a zombie, any zombie, including those in POI's. If they had stayed still in the middle of the street they would have been fine, but this is Neebs crew after all
@@mikekeeley3432 Ah, I was not aware of that. Thank you for correcting me and explaining what it is- 10 years with this game and I had no idea the director stopped spawning zombies after you if you died and avoided heat generating activity/line of sight with zombies.
I mean do you remember darkness falls, appsro trying to be sneaky at night and dora shows up just blasting a shotgun even though he'd been told to be quiet at night a 100 times lol
This is why Pass n Gases are my preferred starter base for hoard nights. They are inherently very durable, have a large flat roof, and are easy to defend. Might be a good time to find another one.
You gotta love it when the loot goblin dies because he cannot control his loot goblin behavior. Absolutely loved the interaction between Simon and Neebs at the start of this video... "I saved you... I wanted to die... You owe me..." LOL!
I'm with Neebs! Either the day went really quick or it just got cut out! The day turned red at 4:30 into the video. I would like to see more gameplay of the day.
At least Simon was smart enough to save himself the deaths one of the only negatives about this game every death adds a max health penalty and I am not sure of many things that actually bring it back permantly so each death makes the game harder.
@@MultiMoe11 The developers removed the max health penalty years ago, they use an XP penalty now, which is that little reaper icon you see on the lower left of Dora's screen for this entire video, lol.
The new update is out, are you guys gonna jump on soon, I'd love to see how you handle the changes. You can't count on dukes anymore, missions don't give you much. You can start a second 7D2D series, I always love those the best :D
@@mikekeeley3432 That's alright, they've got a zeppelin now. They just need to focus on getting gas and then they can ride out the horde nights from the comfort of their own mobile floating horde base.
The timing on the death count is the type of little things that really make neebs videos. So funny I was counting a long and was waiting I was one one off but than there it was lol.
i would have loved nothing more than to see at the end when the death tally was counting up, dora die in the background to the gunner and it tick up one more time
I think that the bow or spear doesn't drain stamina using them, which may be better weapons to use, until you get weapons with silencers. I know that if you bump up your stealth and speed skills first, that they will help out a lot, as it makes you extremely hard to detect and fast enough to dodge strikes. Athletic clothes seem to offer better stats than all the suits. A level six athletic suit and shoes offers a lot of benefits and nothing can compare with stealth for silent kills or running ten feet in any direction to lose most chasing you. The whites may still give chase. When you can, cut windows out into doors, so you can escape. Try to always chop a clear path out of a room, because the zombies' number one strategy is trapping you, were you can't get away. Book stores and libraries are good places to find lots of books, but they are also in mailboxes, waiting rooms, certain businesses. You can double dip the mail boxes by checking them before accepting the quest/challenge and then checking it again after accepting the job. I would build my horde night fighting position, on top of a steel water tower and use the inside of the tank as my manufacturing base. Once you craft a flying machine or steal the blimp, make a landing strip on its roof, so you never have to use the stairs. With it only having one way to the top, you can build trap doors to drop them to their death. You can build multiple fighting positions all along the steps to the top. Police vomit can't fly through medal ladders, so you can actually use them to make walls and ceilings to keep the vultures from attacking your blind sides. Keep zombie attackers in a narrow path to you, that way you are basically fighting one at a time and those not able to fight can't destroy your base. Zombies cannot penetrate metal. Another cool place to build a horde house is on top of the medal bridge. Make their path up to it, a pipe, so they only approach one at a time. If you cut a hole in the bridge, then when they fall, they fall below the bridge and have to start all over, if they survive. You can loot all the trader locations. Have a storage bin at all the traders, so you can dump surpluses and head back to looting POIs. This will help, when it's time to sell, because you are right there with all your stuff. Some players build their manufacturing bases near a trader for the convenience.
Every series that comes out , every horde night i watch i want to share the horde base we use with the guys so bad. No mechanics glitches , no weird tricks , no crazy builds. We have the be all end all of just deal with zombies straight up base, but then i remember it would ruin the vids! LOL Great job guys!
I had a series I did with a friend for stream where the hordes were random and we were nomads so we had no permanent base but we started with a 4x4. There was also no warning that it would be a horde night so we just had to watch the sky and listen for the horde lightning when it got to 1800. The we would scramble into a nearby building and throw up a horde base as quickly as possible with the materials we had stockpiled in the jeep. It was actually really fun and most of the time our horde bases worked. We did not need to grab any materials that were not useful for making a horde base since we never would be able to use workbenches since we had no permanent base. All of our gear was just loot we would find so we just mostly grabbed wood cobblestone and would buy cement mix and steel from the traders. And of course we would stockpile some food and ammo but mostly just the ammo. We would just usually eat the food as we found it to save space in our truck for base materials and ammo.
I mean…it’s a strategy. When you are hopelessly stuck in a horde night, you might as well NOT respawn until it’s over, rather than just die 20 more times. Just wait until it’s over and go get your stuff.
Well considering every death in 7 days gives you a max health penalty and it takes forever to get it back and dying mroe makes it worse Simon made the right call waiting until the horde night was done instead of dying more and loosing even more max health making the game even harder for him.Simon deserves to be praised for this
@@MultiMoe11 No praise.. Not a chance. It's disrespectful to his friends and us as viewers. He basically ran away and hid in a closet under his blanket sucking his thumb. He may have chosen to avoid the deaths but it takes away from the content and his job as a provider. It is shameful at best. Definitely not praise worthy.
@@MrKingglenn Hmmm lets go through your argument he didn't abandon his friends he made a smart decision something Simon is not known for and usually he just complains and then gives up. This time though he realized going back would cost him health and rather than do it and complain about it next time they loaded up the game he realized he could leave and come back when the horde night was over. As for loosing content i really don't think so one of the best parts of watching content creators is watching them grow and actually learn about the games they are playing and growing from their years of playing. Simon could have easily came back started bitching and moaning "for content" but it wouldn't be good content it would just be him whining something many have complained about him before. So yes praise is deserved here as he is growing as a gamer somethign many of us have wanted to see
I guess that might work since they seem to be in the Muppet rank. Waiting for the Blood moon day before doing any base building is a distinct Muppet rank move. 😂
You guys should pool the mags together. Chuck em all in a box and have each person read specific sets. Like Appsro reads the forge ahead/crafting, neebs reads all the cooking/farming.
I love how Dora and Simon never correlated them getting on bikes and super vultures spawning. They just kept getting on their bikes and getting surprised about how many super vultures there suddenly were.
Pretty epic of Simon to get away at 14:36, usually he'd just stand and let them smack him, he's learning so well. Hopefully they'll pay attention to top middle of screen now. Proud of Simon only dying once to a horde wasn't prepare for, but... poor Dora.
Love how dora screws the pooch the whole time but still employs a zigzag manoeuvre on a bicycle when under fire. Training never really goes away i guess.
The guys should consider building one (or more) of those door/trapdoor pitfall traps that Neebs used in the Versus series with a layer of upgraded wood blocks below. Light it up and just watch the zoms run up the stairs and into the fire all night long. Like a fireplace channel - but with loot drops and charred flesh!
@18:47 Reminds me of the Dawn of the Dead remake, (from the special features) Andy of Andy's Guns had a clip in there where he talked about throwin a molotov into the crowd of zombies in front of his store sayin "They kinda smell like Jimmy Dean sausage"!! 🤣🤣
What a great episode😄 I recently got a new pc and installed this game on it. Been playing on xbox for years, such a pain, and I'm too impatient to wait for the console updates, I guess😅 Today I had my first green glowing zombie, and it was none other than the one referred to as zombie-Thick💜 He was pretty tough and I'm a nobody, but I took him down eventually.
