To say that I was expecting something that went hard would be an overstatement. I fully expected that this would be a little jest, but no, bro decided to create another masterpiece

A fun fact that I heard somewhere Someone who works at Mojang said the mob ideas aren't tossed out, but put into a library to where they can be added "When the time is right" like how frogs got added with the swamp update Although, when explaining what he meant by "When the time is right" he said "Between now and the heat death of the universe" or when the sun explodes, either one of those 2, basically, it's just going to be a surprise

"Why do they keep trusting us, we do it to em every year!" I absolutely love this quote because of how true it is. Literally every single mob vote has caused excessive drama and controversy. Phantoms are notoriously known as the most annoying mob in the game. Glow Squids caused a lot of hatred due Dream supposedly rigging the vote. Allay was most likely the least hated mob vote, although people were saying Dream also rigged it (which is untrue) Sniffers were really hyped up, but ended up being two decorative plants which people despised And then this year. I don't think I need to explain it.

This has probably been released at the most opportune moment ever. Unless people get even more angry at the mob vote next year. Which I think is very likely unless Mojang adds one (or more) of the lost votes this year.

The Biome votes made sense . It takes a lot of dev time to make and update a whole biome. In comparison, the mob vote is a year of dev time for a mob that does very little, it makes no sense why all three cant be added

They got that Microsoft money and decided just to roll in their practically unlimited funding to do everything in their power to not make vanilla minecraft as interesting as it can be. I think that reason that a lot of people just don't have patience or sympathy for Mojang Devs is that we're dealing with several controversies that give Mojang a REALLY bad look. We got: They put Technoblades Crown into the launcher only to remove it when Phoenix was able to put it back in to the new design incredibly quickly (Makes it look like they did it for publicity in the first place because other controversies were also happening at the time) Chat reporting on private servers that are not Mojang sponsored They tried to implement several more banning features for things such as quitting early (Why), servers would get shut down for guns (just going full baby mode), griefers getting banned from online play (people are gonna grief and some servers even encourage it), and then there are still p2w servers and scams running abundant even though Mojang is getting stricter for the players who play nice.

The thing I don't get at all is why Mojang doesn't do more "second chance" votes. Or any, actually. Hell, if they're set on the number of mobs they can add a year, they could still throw a couple of "second chance" options in each mob vote, or even just every other.

The thing is, this year, it actually felt like they were all equal in terms of how they affected gameplay, as opposed to how much the Copper Golem promised compared to the Allay.

Why is the song so darn catchy? Not to mention its versatility. I bet you could make one about the Enderlings (Endersent, Endermen, Blastlings, Watchlings and Snarelings) or the Enchanted Endersent from MC Dungeons and it would work. Or one about the different Piglin hordes from MC Legends, just because...
