joe kim only brush it when it’s wet, and you have a ton of conditioner or some kind of moisturizer for your hair. It’s good to brush it with a wide tooth comb before hand. I used to destroy my natural hair by trying to brush it dry all the time, my hair is even curlier than Dan’s, I’m around 3C

Jaymie Martin the best way (for me at least) is to wet my hair with some water, use a wide tooth comb and start combing the bottom third of the hair. Then go up the next third and so on. It’s different for everybody tho lol

I have curly hair, and brushing it when it hasn't been getting brushed from the day it's started growing is torture. I've gotten some fairly serious injuries that haven't made me shed a tear, but getting curly tangled hair brushed makes me cry like a baby every time.
