Can someone explain the meaning of the "Save me white girl, save me!"? Know your meme is not being helpful and when I look up uses of it for context I see it hinted as some kind of flirting in the "Save me from myself" overly dramatic way. The way this group talks about it feels like they are either mocking the "White Girl" for trying to "save them" in a way that makes me feel like it is making fun of white women for being allies to other people's causes/ struggles when it isn't something they can understand. Mocking them for thinking they are the ones who are most disenfranchised/ whose causes are more deserving and the social justice warrior movement. Mocking modern media that favors portraying the plight of a white woman more favorably than others and maybe half-heartedly actually pleading for white women to step up and bring attention to their cause.
tbf you're probably overthinking this. the original meme was making fun of white women's saviour complex (there are women that insist that they can "fix him" aka save men who are bigoted but its often unsuccessful) and the person that is crying fir a white girl to save them is also deperate and wants to be saved
