Had something similar happened when i was little. The neighbour, a hunter, rang our doorbell with a basket full of chicks. Ours had escaped unknown by us at that time and made their way into the woods next door and his hunting dog found them all and brought them to the owner in his mouth unharmed.

So incredibly special that Lancelot found the chic. He is a hero and ever so gentle. ❤️Isabelle looked so pretty in her blue dress and you looked stunning too Stephanie. Such a precious little Peachick❤️. I wonder if he will think Lancelot is his Mummy? Thank goodness the Peahen accepted him. Life is so fragile. The chapel is beautiful! I love to see the workers perform their art. It's good to see Percy, Isabelle and Michael all back at LaLande. It's nice when the "natural order of things" is restored! Stephanie, in the miniseries, "Nolly", there is a scene filmed in Venice, of Helena Bonham Carter (Nolly) sitting on a balcony. It's the same balcony you and Phillip sat and watched the boat parade when you visited Venice recently. The scene of the balcony is towards the end of the third episode.

Your Chapel is so wonderfully decorated and is coming along just beautifully- can't imagine better folks to help bring it back. I grew up Quaker, in Woodbury, N.J. (South Jersey) aligned with a 1700's Quaker Meeting House that was very beautiful, but plain- no altar- only "facing benches". Handmade wooden benches with horsehair seats and a wall that could be pulled up and down along the midline early on..(Politics). No Preacher, we just stood and shared our thoughts as the Spirit moved us. Though utterly Foreign to my way of worshiping (more akin to Buddhism IMO), I so respect and admire your lovely Chapel. So wonderful to see it coming back!. Great Job everyone!

Sif hids her nest each year. Natti said she showed up with three chicks. Last year, they found her on the nest but had to move the chicks to the walled garden. This year, she did the moving. Remember, only Wedgewood survived from the chicks last year. ❤
