You should do it with a boy so then you can see the difference between them EDIT: omg thank you for the likes Ik every one says this but for real thank you 😍😊😋
India Jenkins no bc they put band-aids on them. I had my principal say and LADIES no visible undergarments. Like what. One time I went to the nurses office because I didn’t wear a bra BC YOU COULD SEE IT. I started wearing bras and NOW I HAVE TO HIDE IT.
When I was in high school, my school actually banned sweatpants for girls because too many girls were wearing them and boys were pulling them down. So rather than punish boys for sexually harassing and assaulting girls, my school made dress codes more strict for girls. Crazy how much of a double standard there is lol
Yeah at least in middle schools in my county in SC, the dress code stated boys couldn't wear pants or shorts showing their boxers or below the waist, etc
For my school, they are super strict on showing midriff, unnatural hair colors, piercings and leggings for girls but guys only get in trouble for having hoods on and are simply asked to take them off and most guys will walk a little bit away and then put the hood back on.
@@AnnbrialKing how if they were ripped on your knees? I can somewhat understand if they were high up to your thighs though, but what he said was unacceptable and out of turn
how do they dress code a girl for not wearing a bra? it is a little extreme but you could defo file a claim for sexual harassment if administators at your school ever said "i can see your nipples" or "are you wearing a bra" or anything like that. you could just say you were going to file one and they probably wouldn't dress code you lol.
Girl: *shows tiny bit of bra strap* School: *sees* DETENTION! It's like oh no, no one can know, that teenage females wear bras Call Victoria cuz her secret's out Edit: woah 175 likes
@Starbarian Mike was in this one though... As people said up top, I'm sure it would give a nice contrast between the gender rules. Most people know about it, but not all understand how far it goes.
Dude my best friend was every teacher's favorite student, and neeeever got dress coded. i wore shorts that were slightly too short once and got dress coded the the class I had with her - and she was wearing a full on crop top with spaghetti straps
We had rule my middle school about fingertip length shorts and spaghetti strap shirts and dresses, but one day the popular girl at my school wore a romper that broke both of those rules and no even noticed. She was also shorter than other people so she didn't show as much skin, I guess...?
The fingertips thing is not fair because a lot of people are different and I have very long arms and my fingertips are a few inches above my knee when fully extended
linjmee85 that’s what I thought too. I mean like it isn’t some people’s faults if their body matures faster than others. If a flat girl were to wear a low cut neckline, they wouldn’t get dress coded. If a girl with a matured body were to wear a low cut neckline, you better believe they will most likely get detention.
My school abolished the “fingertip rule,” which is great for me, because I have freakishly long arms due to a genetic condition. I guess this goes to show how these rules don’t work the same on every body type. Edit: Grammar
Dude Joyce should be in more videos, she’s funny. (Btw I did this with the voice thing, and this is what it heard the first time I tried to say that: Do you did you said being more videos on what she’s funny.)
Always BreAsia .... My family says Yeehaw.... no joke.... My grandpa was even known as the man with the cowboy hat at my schools. This was all the way from elementary to high school. Everyone seemed to know him by that. He was also a volunteer counselor. No lie, I was and still am proud of that, the cowboy had and counselor thing. 😅 and the yeehaw. 🤠
Several rules were way different that my school where you have to freaking were pants because it is against dress code for your knees to be showing and don’t get me started on the boys who where shorts everyday and don’t get dress coded
Bro mine reach like the bear bottom of butt and I got dress coded even though the dress code said the shorts/shirts cant be any longs or shorter than you finger tips
They don't care at all which is great BUT my lectures are SO COLD that I end up wearing pants and bringing sweaters to my classes anyways, even in the south in August!
“Are we yee hawing today, or neigh?” Me everyday this year breaking the dress code by wearing leggings without a fingertip length shirt. (I go to a middle school in SC, the teachers are pretty strict abt the dress code, but I was never dress coded)
Keri I go to Blythewood too. The dress code rules are not being followed at all. Females will wear whatever they want and males as well. No administrators will do anything about it because they’re too scared that they will be receiving hate from other students or people will say that they are sexualizing or harassing young kids. I get the students want to wear what they want and be free and comfortable, but the way that the students are handling now it is not OK
As a graduate of Blythewood High from the time that rule was added to the dress code, fish hooks on hats was the exact reason for it being added. Because someone took a hook off a guy's hat and tried to stab another student. Whether it was an attack or a "joke" is still up for debate.
As someone who hordes and can't seem to wear less than 4 pieces of clothing at once, I both admire that and don't understand how you could pull it off. Are they 7 dresses, or like 5 shirts and 2 pairs of pants?
in my school we have 2 rules: 1. no spaghetti strap 2. no short clothing that shows underwear when bending down. pretty simple. can you do a middle school dress code?
-no shoulders -no shorts or leggings/yoga pants without a skirt 3" above the knee -no rips in jeans 3" above the knees -no tank tops, period. -so shoes without backs -no unnatural hair color -no skulls on anything -no hats or hoods -no stomach can show And thats the bare minimum at my school, but the boys don't have to follow any of the rules.
I’m a student at Blythewood High School!!!! Many students, including myself, are fighting our districts dress code. Since we are in a very “yeehaw” area, fish hooks can usually be found on guys hats and such so that’s why it’s included. We have multiple teachers fighting the dress code and refuse to dress code students. Blythewood is actually super relaxed on dress code, but we are still hoping for change!!! I did a project last year where I met with administration and fought the dress code which was super cool
Gurl, I feel you, I go to Berkeley down in Moncks Corner and we go through the same crap. If you look us up, we come up as Yee Yee Bubba High school 😂😂
Ikr! I’m in SC and nobody talks about us, even though we r one of the few states that allow minors to get vaccinated without parents permission, which is like, super awesome.
Yeah, I live in Charleston, SC so I was really glad when Kristin went there as one of the 8 cities on her list, which is a relatively small number, on the Empty Suitcase series. Luckily Charleston's been consistently rated as one of the top cities, at least for travel
I'd love to see you do Minnesota High Schools just because of the change of climate. I know my dress code went from super strict to super vague from middle school to high school. (I got dress coded four times in one year in junior high but never in high school?)
Bro I live in south Carolina and at my school they usually didnt care enough to dress code people so basically as long as you wernt just wearing a bra to school you were fine 😂
Okay, so I'm gonna be honest but I never follow the dress code. And I go to a private school and they are actually very strict with the dress code. But since I'm short they don't really notice since it would look longer than it really is.
Dont quote me on this but im pretty sure in one video ( idk if it was a dress code one or some other one) I think I remember Kristen or someone saying that it doesnt get washed very often.
We just had uniforms and then we still had like 50 rules on how to wear them correctly. I was on uniform check duty and we literally had separate checklists for boys and girls lmao
Same I have a uniform, but we have a dress code because we can’t have jewelry or earrings or anything. So yeah.. but also I do sometimes get a dress down day, and we have a VERY strict dress code for that.
I’m just happy that someone actually recognized my state. Nobody talks about South Carolina, it’s always North Carolina. Also, where are my fellow South Carolinians? YEEHAW JOYCE YEE FREAKIN HAW 🤠
I've been dress coded for the same reason. Excuse you dress code says nothing about tucking in. I keep a copy of dress code in my backpack so I can call out a few teachers man
I LOVE Mike as Principal. XD And Joyce is way too fun with her singing. ^_^ Do Pennsylvania high school dress codes!! Might I suggest my own alma mater school district of Crawford Central (link to dress code at bottom of comment if you actually pick them), ESPECIALLY since I actually got away with a "no-no" once: swimming wear as a top (granted, it was on my last day of senior year and with a jean jacket over it, so if administration noticed, they just didn't care. XD I think I even told my one teacher who's always been on the more chill side and he laughed.) And, at least at one point, flip-flops were banned as footwear--this one seems to be an on-again off-again thing over the years... Also, I never seem to see you guys trying to accessorize in these vids. My school has Spirit Week once a year (or at least it did)--usually in Springtime--and one of the days is usually Hat Day. Accessorize, ladies? ;) Claim it's Spirit Week!! 8D Crawford Central school district dress code: www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwin5cTPtPThAhWqTt8KHV9jBJgQFjAAegQIAhAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.craw.org%2FDownloads%2FMAMS%2520Dress%2520Code-Cell%2520Phone%2520Use.pdf&usg=AOvVaw3GnI2ylijSyNtg1aFFUJdq
