This was the 2nd golf course out of 7 we played on our Road Trip Across America. RainDance National didn't disappoint! This is designed by Fred Funk, former PGA Tour player/winner. This golf course has the distinction of being the longest golf course in North America tipping out at 8, 463 yards! I had every intention of doing a video from the tips. We had two tee times booked. The first round, which is this video, we played at a respectable 7,000 yards. Then our afternoon tee time was going to be from the tips. However, we were following the last group of a tournament and they were playing SLOW. So, we missed our afternoon tee time to play it again. All for the better though, the weather came in and a few holes in, we would have had to walk off anyways. Bummed. I really wanted to play it from the tips. I did play 6 holes during my round from the tips (played 2 balls) and I was -2 for those six holes from the tips. Ten states, 9 days, 6 golf courses, 4,071 miles. Took a moment to squeeze in seeing the Gateway Arch in St. Louis but other than that, it was a whirlwind trip of golf. Make sure you view them all:
