Amen Chuck, I have a sawmill and my new neighbors and friends have a larger tractor with all the toy attachments. I fell his trees and mill his lumber and he helps me with his attachments. Only way to go!
I look at it money is in many forms. If they have it and need help or meat, nw. Its all equal or if ones short still make it work. We need to work together.
It's great to have a tight knit community like that. I love this kind of content. I wish we knew people like you guys. My hubby and I do our own processing. Tiring, but rewarding. Happy homesteading!
Glad you save the feet, so good when fried. My dads favorite part of the chicken, he always said I like the back, the breast and all the rest. He could eat a whole chicken plus the rest of the food when he was young and farming.
WHY are their heads still attached?? WILD. That was always step one, when I was growing up. Looked like Sharon was giving a pedi before cutting off the feet. LOL
That's just what friends do. Imagine a world where everything you did was because you had to. Obligation is a terrible way to live. It is fun to do some things you don't really have to. It is so much richer when we live by the love and kindness principle. Good job Chuck and Saundra for doing so.
It's a shame that most of the younger generation doesn't believe in helping others unless there is something for them. It's a real shame. My children were taught to help those who were in need. It's just the right thing to do.
