Hello Mr. Beard. I found your channel last week, alongside Tazer's and I've been binge watching all of the videos. I'm a "retired" explorer because my health has deteriorated a bit in the past 5 years. With that said, I'll be happy to give you any information I can on the places you explore. For example, the Citroen was last taxed in 6 December 2008 and MOT expired 28 November 2009. Also, I'm a sewist and embroiderer, and I love when there's any sewing equipment around. So if you ever find any sewing machines, can you please see if you can find a serial number? I might be able to find the date they were made. It always hurts my soul seeing the destruction people do to these places. Just because it's abandoned, it doesn't mean it doesn't have owners. Happy exploring and stay safe!
Those set of keys upstairs with Knotts on them came from the Motorcycle Shop in Western road Stratford upon Avon Warwickshire. They sold out about 8 years ago to Blade Motorcycles.
Why do people bother breaking in and trash what was someone's home? Specially if it has other people's memories which a family member may want in the future
Usually doing fast searches of the place then treading on the stuff, usually the state or parents are supporting these vandals with somewhere to live and food in their mouths so not hsving to work have time on their hands to be destructive the way they've probably been treated psychologically.
Always makes me wonder why the utility companies don’t cut the supply off when clearly no one is paying the bills! The fridge is in amazing condition inside, pity the rest was left in the same state. ☹️😡
It really saddens me, in fact it makes me very angry to see all this damage and wanton vandalism that is done to these explored properties. Promoting the existence of these houses is bad, but thankfully you as explorers fund not disclose the properties location, unlike some. Thanks for a decent explore video, but it's spoiled by seeing all this damage, I would love to catch the people responsible, and give them a short sharp lesson on respect! Thanks guys
That light and the fridge has been on for how many years? How come the electricity company never cut the power to the house? Was amazed how clean the inside of the fridge was. Anyone know the back story to this one?
I have wondered the same things from other abandoned homes that have the electricity still on. It's known that sometimes squatters will have the electric turned on in their name and if they are found to be squatting their they cannot be kicked out of the house. The landlord has to go through the judicial system which can take time.
At one time this place was very nice. Unfortunately vandals have ruined, not only this home but the belongings as well. Sooo sad to let perfectly good cars go to the elements when there are people who don’t have any. I also worry about you both being around black mold with no masks on! Thank you for sharing this, once lovely home. Sooo sad that vandalism is sooo very bad😞
It seems wasteful and selfish to leave those cars to rot not to mention what looks like a valuable house full of belongings if the owner didn't want them there are many deserving charities who desperately need funds.
I wish I knew the story behind some of these abandoned homes. Before being trashed and mother nature got involved, this looks like a normal family home with all its contents still inside. Its like a full family died at once. If you had been evicted you'd take all your valuables with you. Even scrapped theres nearly £500 in cars. That house must be worth £200k tidied up, whys it just been left to decay and devalue??? Pecks my head😬
house dirty n mouldy but the fridge very clean inside! odd... should mayb take dust masks in these places mould nasty stuff to breath in.... love the finds u find ha! 😁
So so sad. He didnt look very old in that photo. Clearly at some point family orientated. Given this is now boarded up can you give more of the back story?
I wonder if the guy lived on his own possibly a divorced and passed away on a motorbike accident and the family could not do anything with the house as he might not have done a will and the house and his possessions could not be claimed as electric is still on so someone is still paying for the electric looks to be abandoned about 2008 - 2010 from the tv and other electrical items
Sometimes I suspect maybe they consider the house too dangerous to enter to cut off the electric or the monthly direct debit is only small and there's been enough in the account to cover it for years.
a friend in an electricity company says that a "trickle" of electric usage is overlooked and not worth their pursuing it, for example the usage could be estate agents showing the property.
Another possibility was squatters. in birmingham there was a house which also housed bikers that squatted there for years. they kept it quite tidy and kept to themselves. ive just looked at google maps but it looks like its been torn down and replaced by a biggish new build house. it was also an old house
Don’t bother we have now cleared and sealed this house and are very much onsite. This is not and never been abandoned-can’t believe how thick some people are!!😡
If only walls could talk, someone had a good life there. Nice size house in its own grounds, be worth quite a bit even now in that state. Power being on is strange, surprising the energy company hast disconnected it. Nice find.
Very interesting old house very moldy.and man it is tore up love to know what the backstory is whatever happened with these people did the maybe the guy died or something. and I know from having a motorcycle myself here in the states that leather is not cheap at all. The riding gear that he had hanging up and laying around that's an expensive gear. Reaction to the blow up doll on the stairs was priceless.
Watching your videos i am seriously considering becoming an explorer. From yorkshire myself. The only thing that put me off slightly would be that haunted house but i would only ever enter groundfloor buildings
Interesting place, could probably be saved. I also don't understand what the vandals get out of destroying things for no reason. So childish. I love how you look without a hat. All those curls and that Celtic complexion. I know you have an English accent, but you must have Celtic blood. Be safe, and keep exploring! NY Nana
Such a shame that places like this get left and torn apart :( it would make someone a really nice home, as for the doll i just cant hahaha i laughed so hard my sides hurt lol thank you for taking us along
Hiya... I had to stop this video at the start because I got quite upset by the (vandols) mess.. it angers me to see wat they do.... but... you walk around with such respect and never reveal the location witch I really admire... :):) it is such a shame wen these places just get left... I guess they have no family to come back and empty the place ... ;);)... keep doing wat you do please... its Brilliant to see the respect given :):)
Like you said if it was not for the kids to destroy the house everything would have been perfect, why did the people leave the house in the first place strange how people just get up and go mrk3 golf gti awesome find
Did you check off camera if there is a shed or garage or something around the house? I guess that there would have been probably more than one bike around and he wouldn't have liked to keep them outside.
50 years ago I had a Willys WW2 Jeep , I parked it on some spare land across from my house not in use , local young Kids liked to play on it , thinking what damage can they do ? they smashed all the gauges , , I asked them why. . " Dont know" so as per the house and others you have shown , why the urge/ to destroy things ?
The "decor" really screams "swinging bachelor pad" or more likely "divorcee dad pad". A lot of the stuff looked fairly recent and of interest to a man in his 40's. Wondering if he died or has been incarcerated?
Guys, please wear protective gloves and respirators. The amount of contaminants ie mould spoors and other airborne contamination in the locations you visit
That was once a beautiful home I love the balcony with the pool. Most of the belongings look quite modern it was a strange mixture with the baby's bottles, kids videos and the blow up dolls very odd. I noticed the other hand from the blow up doll on the landing. Really enjoyed the video thanks for posting.
It’s a real mystery on this place. Property must be paid for otherwise it would have been repossessed and must be worth a few quid. If parents had died then kids or family would have inherited?.. bit of spooky...
I can't help but wonder, how did someone like that get such a nice house and land. My guess would be he went to jail and his family moved on. Be safe out there.
