The owner is such an interesting person with all his families stories. I can imagine unless you’ve been brought up in a massive historic mansion, how scary it’d be to live there all alone. It’s bad enough now if I’m left alone at night in my house. Every creak, and bang sometimes scares me. I’d want so much security it’d be V like Fort Knocks

Hello from Maine! What a TREAT to have such a personable owner tell his family history, and a fantastic tour guide! What a beautiful place! I would have loved to have seen Paul just take us to every area of the house, and passageways, to explain the systems of how the castle worked, in its day to day workings. You should come to Chillingham Castle in Northumberland. It's supposedly Britain's most haunted Castle and it gets thousand of visitors every year just trying to see the historic sights and ghosts 👻. It's beautiful in and around too.

Steve don't worry about doing your haunted series it's different and fun, does Francis have anyone to pass the castle down to, if not I hope he has a good friend he can add to the deed to avoid inheritance taxes that would financially drain that person. hi Steve, nice video. you wouldn't know, but this chap used to have a TV show about his family. It was famous for his posh use of sailor language, was hilarious. he's desperate for cash for the upkeep of the huge property as the family money has gone. it's a shame, but amazing he's still hanging on to the old place. cheers Steve, take care mate

Consider this place owns a good haunting experienced from the past...there must be story to each of it. First time I've seen such a beautiful carving door from wood. Steve Ronin, I just wanted to say that this by far was a very meaningful investigation by far, showing that not only has a few generations of a warm friendly family endured this home, but have stayed there to witness their descendants. About that part with the music boxes, I couldn’t help but think about how Mr Fullford mentioned there are spirits of children trapped within these walls. Particularly the people of the late 18th to 19th century, they would have been amazed, particularly the children by music boxes despite the fact that they’re gadgets of detection. It just shows that this house is full of personalities even in the spirit world and how warm they are.

Huge place. I wonder how sensitive the equipment is. A place that big has air flow, particularly on the floor and hallways and doorways. Maybe keep them higher? Spirits may not consider themselves dead, as energy they would be dimensional rather than physical. Digital cameras may pick that up. Fun stuff. Thanks.

Europe is the best for haunted houses. Those places are ancient. At 34.18, looked like a spirit crossed the screen. Something flew from the bottom right to the top left. I really wanted you to ask more yes/no questions about the actual spirit to get to know them and maybe even help them or know how they died or when. You seemed to lose interest once you confirmed they were there. Missed opportunity. You gotta talk to them more to see what they're about and why they're still there.
