Yes, 100%. Everything this comment says is a reflection of my opinion. There is definitely beauty in a lament for a long and difficult time that will soon come to a close. I have been watching for just over a couple of years I now have watched every episode and it seems that you both have a soft spot for each other and are willing to go way above and beyond for each other. That definitely comes across, to me, in the videos.

Oh please! This comment is just too much! Anyone who has watched these videos will be delighted by the work ethic of Aladino (something we should aspire to) but to wax lyrical about these two people and wonder how much affection we all have is, quite frankly absurd. My advice: go out and meet some real people for yourself. Even Maya and Aladino wouldn’t disagree with that.

As a arborist who loves your channel whenever you show shots of the barn/ boat shed from the outside I notice the one tall fir tree with the bent over top. Probably it got snow loaded and came oh so close to breaking but alas it did not. Now it lives on showing signs of its difficult journey and perseverance. Somehow that is apropos to Mia’s journey through this refit. Aladino would be the tree standing next to it offering protection from the elements. Thanks as always for sharing with us.

Maya try not to think about the whole project don’t dread doing the work don’t think how much is left to do don’t even think about what you are doing tomorrow or how much you have already done think it’s only work put your head down and get to it. Stop thinking about it while your working think about your music or other interests. Then next day do the same and a day will come when you suddenly realize you can see the end and it all changes on that day the excitement of finishing the project and the pride of the accomplishment makes you feel almost giddy, put your head down “it’s only work”

Wow! what a great episode, Magic carpet is coming along beautifully. And Maya, its nice to see you let your hair down, both figuratively and literally. I enjoy hearing your music and the accompaniment by mother nature was magical. And as an artist myself, Drawing, I understand not wanting to monetize it, people are always asking me to draw things for them and offering to pay me, but that somehow takes a little of the enjoyment out of it. I often draw things for people as gifts but I don't sell my work. I consider my art and yours a gift, even if they do take years of practice, and selling a "gift" seems wrong. Can't wait to see next weeks episode!

Its really to cool to hear what you said about your musical creative side. That you reserved it for expression of joy rather than professional exploit. I am same but only came to expressing myself through music in my twenties. Trying many instruments has also been a joy but not mastering one instrument is disconcerting. Lately I started full into piano keyboard because of a few different reasons. One is access to digital tools but also the keyboard does make a lot of sense for the expression of rythm together with harmony and melody in such a variety of ways. the multi timbrel palet available is going to be a lot of fun to use. And having enough music knowledge to do it from a big pitcure perspective will be great. Still procuring equipment at this time while applying myself to the learning experience. Keeping busy since my retirement came through is leading to something very enriching if God is willing. My vision for music is something yet undone mainly because of eqipment and moving around so much so in the past focused on portable instruments mainly guitar but also ukulele more recently. Music and playing it, expressing one self through it is a very enriching experience. Life would not be the same without it. I would love to be sailing but on a voyage with music right now, a real adventure. God bless you both in your venture. I find the work ethic and attention of completeness very inspiring; I watch a few different sailing renovation and build channels; these do inspire me a lot towards my own personal project towards the future and seeing/experiencing the personalities of each is really special. Thanks for your diligence with the posts.

Good explanation on chop strand vs biaxial and how/why to incorporate both. I was wondering about that.
@anthonyrstrawbridge
@anthonyrstrawbridge Год назад
And so the chopstrand glass fiber laid out over the weave cloth provided a more easily faired and sanded surface plus this has the additional benefits of preventing damage to the woven cloth. You can add a few drops of liquid carnauba wax to the Epoxy resin. It will melt and rise onto the surface giving a smooth but waxy finish. The wax sands off. A color coat followed by a clear Polyurethane top coat creates a hard but flexible finish. One of my favorites for industrial quality. ✌️👶🚬
