This episode reminded me of the princess bride at one point; I imagined it kind of like this: "Hello, my name is Jacob Andrews, you kicked me in the throat in Georgia, prepare to apologize."
Karina really brings the "I've been body swapped with a mouse and mouse me is whispering instructions into my human body" energy at the start of every stream
Well you know what? I'm proud of her for continuing to entertain us dispite this strange curse. I can't say I'd show up to much of anything if I was so afflicted.
I want that "This dog can drive" shirt. I refuse to finish learning to drive until I have that shirt so I can put it on immediately upon receiving my license.
When I was watching Jacob’s drawing I accidentally put my phone on the counter upside down so I spent the entire time wondering why the hell he was drawing upside down and being impressed that it came out well. Also I personally would watch the lost episode with just a disclaimer at the beginning and a slow fade in of the finished pieces while you all talk.
As someone with health issues that passes out ALL THE TIME (POTS/EDS life, whadup) i heard "i wondered what it felt like to pass out" and thought "mostly just annoying" :/
I know this is the stream channel, but I would love if the "Artists Draw the Bottom Half of Mascots" audio was able to listen to on this channel. (Posted this before they said, not trying to be pushy, please do whatever works for u)
Keep the audio! Fade ins are great! But yall what if you used the audio & have someone else follow then reveal the real drawing? For lost audio why not speed draw based on each others final but in another style at the end reveal both. Main channel content yall
1:41:00 My wife had a similar experience learning Spanish on Duolingo. During one of the dialogues, a child says "lo SIENto" in this really exaggerated and high-pitched intonation, and it's hilarious.
guys, what is magooka? google isn't helping i expect because that is mot how thats spelled. also what episode are they taking about when they talk about nathans drawing having the same pose as karinas?
before Jacob mentioned the kicking of the throat I also thought I might have been that giant taekwondo kid. when I went it was mostly super small kids who were likely being bullied I went because Avatar is cool and I wanted to be a bender.
I for one would love a "Lost Episodes" series on Drawfee Extra. I liked that one with the slow reveal just fine and would easily watch more like it, but even if you just wanted to drop the audio over the final pic I think it would be interesting.
I actually really love to listen to the audio of the missing episodes, even if there is just a reveal of the drawings!!! I spend a lot of time even just working and listening to you all.
@@sriracha_sauce Thank you. 😊 I thought they were short-changing themselves yet again, so I wanted to let them know their videos are unique and wonderful and awe-inspiring.
H... How is that even a question? *...Nathan??* How can you say you don't know if you'll ever do anything with one of the best episodes you've recorded?? O.o Fade in each drawing, followed by a sped up recording of a color render, to the original audio! NATHAN?!? Sure, that shouldn't go on the main channel. Give it to the Patreon peeps and publish it on _this very Extra channel_ a month later! There is nothing up for debate here once you talked about it, of COURSE the people want to see it! ... pweeease? 😊
Episode idea: each host picks one of their own personal/off-show/pre-drawfee works and describes it to another artist, and then compare the results (kinda a combination of the sketch artist challenge and drawing fanart of each others work, plus we get to see off-show art)
Not necessarily. There's a lot of filler episodes like for instance Drawga, Drawtectives & Drawfee Variety Hour. Also many of the early episodes were like 10 min.
When i was a beginner at drawfee my best friend was the drawfee wiki. Whenever there was a reference i didn't get i would search for the episode/image on google and then add it to my playlist to watch later. Otherwise i would just enjoy the new ones and get in the new references made. Honestly, got caught up in non time
Jacob and Nathan would be like the 2 Pikachus in Mewtwo Strikes Back. Jacob would be like "Dude come on, we gotta fight" and Nathan would be saying "Pika pika"
I spend so much time just listening and drawing or doing other things that audio-only + slow-fade-in episodes would absolutely be something I’d watch. I also listen to videos falling asleep so having a video where I’m not missing anything visual would also be fantastic. Like a semi-podcast
I wanna see a Drawfee charity MMA tournament. One of the hosts is a trained ass-kicker, and at this stage of the show I think we can all agree that it's time for a tournament arc.
I can't believe that the kid who kicked Jacob in the throat, way back in such a highly specific moment, at a very short period of his life down in Georgie, was ACTUALLY on the stream. Holy shit. What are the odds? The universe perfectly aligned for that one person to be able to apologize to him, years later. Poggers.
Please ask once on the @Drawfee Twitter for the Combat Wheelchair drawing ep 🙂 and happy Immunization Awareness Month💉 00:05:13 They’re on screen 00:09:09 Mug reveal/Nathan is still drawing it 00:13:52 VS 00:18:49 00:28:08 Drawing starts (I can’t tell if all of these are going to be fighting) 00:34:10 Drawing starts 00:38:47 Drawing starts 00:40:50 Drawing starts 00:41:07 Drawing starts (00:44:30-00:46:34 Showing some past art) 00:48:19 VS 00:53:08 01:02:04 VS 01:05:29 01:22:46 VS 01:27:51 01:35:12 Drawing starts 01:50:51 Drawing starts 01:59:07 *FINAL DRAWING* THE END #=#=#=#
The same thing happened to me at a Tae Kwon Do tournament in Georgia when I was like 9. They moved me up an age bracket so I wouldn't be competing against a kid from my same Tae Kwon Do school and the person I sparred against nearly broke my nose because he had trouble kicking lower than my face. Good times.
frickin Prideceratops travelling town to town across all Georgia and annihilating amateur Tae Kwon do younglings I bet they're getting their _kicks_ out of it
Hope you're enjoying your vacation! I caught up on these VODs via Twitch just before the break but I appreciate you uploading them now during the absence of new stuff for anyone who missed them and still craves content
At 1:37:50 they reference a joke they make in a video that was uploaded yesterday, it's called "Drawing Prehistoric Animals Based On Their Skulls" and at 36:30 Nathan's Maryland-accent comes through, which is how this bit started. I remembered!!
23:47 the video where Karina draws this pose is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-imZBUry4pJY.html Recreating The Weirdest Video Game Box Art and 48:34 the favourite of Julia's, the polarizing episode of next week is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EEY3kRk7jks.html Artists Redesign The Looney Tunes
You guys are definitely my top rated group. I love watching you guys and I can play you guys and check in whenever something interesting is going on and be productive in the background. The tones you guys set are always welcoming and calming. If I could listen all day, every day, then I would.
I would absolutely watch the lost episode with art fade in or anything else. I just love watching and listening to everyone. The bits are always so good
RE: Going live on other people's streams - I think that's allowed? Markiplier did it once. I remember he went live, tried to play some browser game (I think it was Press the Button), and then the website crashed, most likely because him going live brought a bunch of people to the website and it crashed it. So while he was trying to get the website to work, he decided he was just going to open up livestreams with donation goals under the banner of "Kick Club," saying something like, "We're gonna go in there, and we're gonna kick their donation goal clear over the fences." He did try to tell people to do it anonymously, though somebody did SPILL THE BEANS and say it was Mark, but enough people came in and said, "No, it's not Mark," and it seemed the streamer was convinced. So he closed the window and was like, "...And they'll never know. They'll never even know, they have no idea." Then I think he put the video as unlisted. I remember being able to go back and rewatch it, but I'm pretty sure it disappeared from my sub feed.
Drawfee tattoo ideas: a simple porf, an outline of a coffee mug with no details, the drawtectives badge, their respective drawtectives characters, the statement "fix it in post"
I will say, the joke I was thinking about for "fix it in post" was that they don't have time now to create a good tattoo, so they'll just fix it [the tattoo] in post
Why plan a convention of any sort for April 1st, April Fools Day, and then have Julia, the incredibly uninformed about main steam things, announce it. Either one sounds like false information, but together sounds near impossible
On the "Are we the best and only people who can talk and draw" topic, there are some contenders like every single guest on drawfee, OneyNG with Slightly Artistic, and uhh... *uhm* _oh they really are the top 100, huh?_
wow really showing the difference betweeen uk and US drinking culture that noone on stream passed out from drinking. that's like the majority of people here and often multiple times in their youth.
Yeah UK drinking culture is crazy. I've heard it's because pubs used to close very early (11 I think?) so people got used to drinking really fast. Then when pubs were allowed to stay open longer, people kept drinking at the same speed only for longer. I don't know if that's actually how it got to be. But in my experience that is definitely how it comes across: hours of frantic drinking as if time is running out. A lot of people pass out but they get home no problem because they are hauled into a taxi by their mates. So it's very normalized and there are no real consequences. Also, in my more limited experience seeing US drinking culture, binge drinking is often done with lighter types of beers I think? So that would also prevent passing out.
I listen to drawfee a lot, like a podcast, because while I LOVE the art in the show it's really something that I have to glance at every few minutes because ~I Have ADHD~
