Glad y’all did! While this show isn’t fit everyone, and clearly targeted a younger demographic than anything before, this was still a charming MCU entry. Iman Vellani is so good in the role, and is a true bright spot in the MCU.

Glad yall watched this. Ms Marvel isnt at the top of my fav MCU D+ shows but it sure isnt the worse. I think its Iman AKA Kamala, who really shines in this and her being a huge MCU nerd also helps her case.

I really enjoyed The Marvels. It doesn’t deserve the hate it’s getting and Ms. Marvel is amazing in it.

Iman's real life fan energy is off the charts.

To clarify, there's a reason this was geared towards a younger audience. The character in the comics starts off this young and they're one of the members of the Young Avengers, of which you've already met one other member. Not everything has to be super serious and action-packed. Every once in a while you need a fun adventure to relax and be entertained, and this show was definitely entertaining. Fun fact, Iman Vellani, the actress that plays Kamala, is a HUGE MCU fan and was geeking out throughout the filming of the season. It's my understanding it only got worse when she got to meet Samuel L. Jackson on the set of The Marvels. I would like you both to keep in mind that Marvel movies come in all styles, flavors and genres. It's not all just superhero stuff. You've already experienced what most would consider the first Marvel horror movie, appropriately directed by Sam Raimi. Take everything for what it is and you'll end up having fun the whole time.

I really enjoy this series, and I’m so glad y’all watched it! I really enjoy the tonal shift of this series cuz it works so well for Kamala and her family! I won’t spoil the Marvels, but I really enjoyed it and Kamala was a huge reason for it! Love your reactions as always!

Thrilled you guys liked this! I love this character and now her supporting cast as well (I need more Bruno). Yeah, this story wasn't the strongest, but Iman Vellani is perfect as Kamala and I'm soo excited to see her in any future MCU projects!

Love Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel, definitely targets a younger audience. Iman is a true fan, just brought, co wrote a Ms Marvel mini series/comic. Took my daughter to watch the Marvels, we both loved it. There were two silly scenes which will take some people out of the movie, for some reason I really enjoyed, they made me smile/laugh then, and still now smiling as I type lol. If you enjoyed Captain Marvel & Ms Marvel in their respective movies/show then you will really enjoy the Marvels. If not, then it probably isn’t for you. I hope you enjoy the Thor movie, it missed the mark for me, but fingers crossed for you, great reactions

I surprisingly enjoyed this series. It was fun and informational - I wasn't aware of the separation in India and what occurred... heartbreaking. I can't wait to watch this with my daughter!

Oh, I forgot how much I enjoyed this show. It is for a younger audience, but I'm 54 found it to be light and funny. I enjoyed the The Marvels too. lots of funny parts, especially Kamala :)

Don't feel too bad for the little boy who "broke his leg" when Kamala dropped him. If you look closely, you'll notice that he is wearing Nakia's stolen sneakers. He is the Mosque shoe thief!

Damnit you guys. Give all the Marvel shows a chance and make your own opinion afterwards. Sometimes you'll have good reactions when watching things out of your comfort zone.

I have trouble understanding the "relatability" thing. I'm 35 (most likely older than you two) and Ms. Marvel was one of my favorite MCU shows. You don't have to be the "target" audience to appreciate adorable characters and intriguing stories. Another example is when I was 5 years old, one of my favorite shows was the Batman animated series. How does a 5 year old girl relate to a grow man billionaire dressed as a bat? You don't need relatability to enjoy a story.

Just go into The Marvels without any expectations. Ignore all the hate comments about it and enjoy it for what it is. Iman is the absolute highlight of the movie, along with the flerkittens, and it's really a fun watch. Not every movie has to be deep and have a long term set up, so watch it with an open heart and be ready to have a giggle. The Marvels isn't by any means a standout in the MCU, but it's not as awful as people who haven't touched grass for some time keep making out.

Ms. Marvel 1x5: I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Partition of India in this episode. Witnessing Kamran's incredible powers, as depicted in his comic book, was truly captivating. It was fascinating to see Kamala discover her own family's legendary connection and ultimately rescue her grandmother from the chaos of the partition. The whole experience gave me a reminiscent feeling of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Additionally, the black and white MCU logo intro was absolutely stunning. I couldn't help but appreciate the subtle reference to Spider-Man: Homecoming with Circle Q. It was reminiscent of the fate of Delmar's Deli in the movie. Lastly, Kamran's mom definitely lacked any sense of restraint.

I said the exact same thing when I first saw Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) vibes! This was such a refreshing series with that family touch! Also, the cop interrogating everyone is the same cop from Spiderman No Way Home that interrogates Peter Parker; even the drones that attacked Kamala are the same ones that Misterio used in Spiderman Far From Home.

While this isn’t my favorite MCU show, I do still like it a lot. It was nice seeing a young lady of color in a starring role, and getting to learn more about a different culture.

Agreed: Glad you gave it a chance, I enjoyed this over a couple of their other series, and if they do a season 2 would gladly watch it as well.

As an Asian Muslim, I really relate to Kamala’s life. The scenes that shows her home life and visiting the mosque feels very similar to my own. It’s just really nice to see a light-hearted series from a big franchise like this that features a Muslim main character and hopefully teaches other people about this culture! The show itself is very fun and easy to watch, and Iman is so likeable as Kamala.

I love her so much. The character and the actor too. Gotta protect Iman Vellani at all cost. She is giving me little sister vibes :') And I dislike how people are hating on her so much cause of the hate train...

Awww that hulk costume really was heartbreaking. The mom worked so hard sewing that together and incorporating her culture into it and the dad put so much effort into getting into character. They were so excited to surprise her.

I loved this show. Great casting for the lead. She's a delight. Loved Kamala's family too. I'm excited for the potential young avengers we might get which will probably be geared toward younger audiences but I'll have a lot of fun with it. I've been enjoying all the shows a lot. Very fun.

Seeing the kid fall while taking a selfie is a commentary on India/Pakistan having the highest number of death by selfies in the world. Mostly due to high falls.

also idk if you guys noticed, but when bruno said khamala is a mutant thats a big deal. thats what the xmen are, all the xmen are mutants.

I'm so glad you are watching. So underrated and a lot of haters of marvel stuff now-a-days. I do admit though, my issue with this series is the writing and editing of the clandestines. Other then that, the show is amazing

I liked this series too for the most part. Very colorful, loved the cultural immersion, that was the best! That wedding dance was so fun. I also learned a lot about Partition. I am interested in seeing her again on The Marvels, but I'll wait for it online since I am already paying for Disney+

Seeing you two enjoy Phase 4 makes me so happy. This phase wasn't the most loved, but I personally adored it, and I love that you guys are enjoying it too. Love seeing it get the respect it deserves.

Ms. Marvel and the actress who play her is so dang endearing and lovable. She has that same quality to her as Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Kate Bishop/Hailee Steinfeld, Yelena/Florence Pugh, Oscar Isaac/Steven/Moonknight….ALL of them I instantly fell in love with. They are just so likable.

Ms. Marvel 1x3: This episode was incredible! The Ten Rings easter egg was a delightful surprise, and mentioning Dr. Erik Selvig added an extra layer of excitement. Kamran's mom definitely has a unique personality. Being a Bon Jovi fan since 1987 is impressive. The showdown between Kamala and The Clandestine was absolutely thrilling. And let's not forget about the fantastic dancing in the episode!

although this series is not for everyone, its still bring something for everyone..Iman Vellani was born to play Kamala..you should watch videos on how she got the role..she is a total fan of the mcu, just like us..she got her own notebook about everything mcu..anyway, i personally like The Marvels..its a good movie. next is Thor: Love and Thunder and She-Hulk..

I honestly don’t care what people say about Ms. Marvel, I LOVE Iman and is probably one of the best things to happen to the MCU, love the music and settings in this series, not my favorite series, but it’s a decent one

It's so much fun. Loved it. I didn't expect it to have so much complexity, history, and context. It's a great story. Marvel does it again. A winner! It's for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Behind Loki, this is my favorite Marvel show. Then again, I haven't seen Secret Invasion, Moon Knight or She-Hulk and I probably won't. But as it stands, this is my second favorite Marvel Disney+ show.

I just finished watching this show, I refused to watch it when it first came out because it seemed childish, but then I watched it and really enjoyed every aspect of this show (especially at the end). Ms. Marvel was a comic that I loved as a kid and I think that the movies captured the character really well. I also loved Bruno as a character in this show.

the one playing Bruno actually was a finalist for the Spider-Man role, then Tom Holland won the role. Would have loved to see him as a Peter Parker (at the very least a variant)

The Marvels is a lot of fun. I enjoyed it, and Iman Vellani is the best thing in it. Since you've now seen WandaVision and Ms. Marvel, the movie will make more sense, though you don't need to have seen either show.

say what you want about the marvels movie, Iman Villani is absolutely adorable and sweet and does a great job with what she's given.

This was her first acting job ever. She has a great future ahead. Hopefully she doesn't get typecast.

Strange that as a 57 year old white male I found it easier to identity with Kamala and her problems than you guys did. But then, grown ups suck. That never changes.

well.. you have seen WandaVision, Endgame, and now MsMarvel... so I can't think of any reason you can't watch The Marvels whenever you are ready.

You're getting into the Marvel era where the narrative is that it's just "bad", even though that's entirely subjective and people who actually watch for themselves often find themselves surprisingly entertained by the content. I suspect that the narrative has taken on a life of its own and fewer and fewer people are actually bothering to see for themselves. All of this stuff is about the personal experience and far too many people want you to feel the way they feel in order to justify their personal feelings on a thing, when personal feelings don't need to be justified, or even shared.

Go watch the movie.. Good film kamala is quality 👌

You skipped the X-men easter egg, the fact that Khamala is a mutant, because she is a inhuman in the comics it was a big suprise when I saw it for the first time

It's funny to me to think about the fact that the guy who plays Bruno was close to be spiderman... After I learned that I cannot stop thinking he was the actual perfect cast for Peter Parker.

I freakin love this show! Iman as Kamala is one of the best castings the MCU has done, and that’s saying a lot cause the MCU is almost nothing *but* S-tier casting choices.

Great series. It shocked me how much I loved Ms Marvel. I suppose a good deal due to Iman's excitable personality.

Stylistically...this was my favorite of the D+ shows. Story could have been stronger with an extra couple of episodes to flesh out some stuff, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

The family stuff is so wholesome even when the parents don't see eye to eye with their kids.

This show gets so much hate when the only bad this is the Clandestines. It’s perfect casting, and really good writing, for everyone but the Clandestines (Aisha was good tho). The “mutation” line is a hint towards the X-Men

I had a lot of fun with this one. I loved that they embraced her culture and stuff that was fun to learn about... It was very Spider-Man like to me... same vibes. I get what you're saying though. I think she's meant to appeal to the youngest audience. She was so adorable in the role and I can't wait till you see The Marvels.

It takes time to make shows and movies in a universe like marvel to show full diversity in heros and villians alike but its good they show it but if thats the entire focus instead of the story there trying to tell then its not good but i love this show but yes they were trying to get the younger crowd in

this shows weird for me. its like two totally different shows mashed together. like episodes 1,2, and 6 and episodes 3,4 and 5 are different things. i was much more attached to the coming of age teenage superhero things in the first two and last episodes, but the other stuff was just such a shift i couldn't find myself caring that much. great character tho, and the actor is really likeable and great in the role.

In the comics and the Avengers game, Kamala originally has the same powers as Mr. Fantastic from Fantastic 4 where she can stretch and enlarge her body. The bangle and solid light powers are original for the show.

I saw Dial of Destiny and it was WAAAY better than Crystal skull and wondered why everyone was panning it. I saw the Marvels and it was super fun. kamala made the movie. The action was on par with Guardians 3. Cant wait to see her in another team project.
