Our 2JZ swapped Ford F-150 Lightning runs, drives, AND has a fresh paint job… all in record time. For us, that is. So what’s left to do? The Lightning work truck was THE ONLY AMERICAN performance vehicle, in that movie, less than 30 years old. That still 🔥burns🔥 when I think about Fast and Furious 1. And it was just a cameo. My head canon is the is that the main character thought it was just a work truck with a cool sounding name.

I own one of these. I do think this was a regular F150. @8:42 the badging on back left tail gate should just be SVT. Looked like the regular side Lightning badges. Especially without the original seats or year specific rims. I mean I would take it. I just have my doubts that it's original. Especially the manual stick dead giveaway it isn't a L. The computer shifts faster. You just floor it. No need to shift. Still looks pretty though!

There is no back to scoot in a regular cab. I don't fit in those, plus I don't like sitting at a 90 degree angle while I'm driving. It's uncomfortable and people look like a dork driving.

My mom used to put the seat in my Acura all the way forward, and I almost got fired one day because the fuse for the seat blew after she had put it all the way forward, and I had to steal the fuse from her Mercedes to get mine working again (but not before I put her seat as far down and back as possible with the seat back laying flat, and the steering wheel super close to the dash and tilted up.
