Once we wrapped up our afternoon and morning camping mission we pack up all our outdoor gear and head towards the lake. We've committed to the big fish hunt as we are fishing the legendary Alan Henry Lake of far West Texas. After hearing that there are minute amount of 10lb+ fish on beds we dedicated the whole day to searching up shallow searching for any big fish that comes our way. After sifting through a few mini spotted bass and venturing deep into some creek arms we finally stumbled upon what we were after... a true giant.

Bro similar shit happened to me I caught a 38 inch snook last week and I had my friend who'd never really been fishing with me and I had 25 pound leader around a bunch of docks and if u know anything about saltwater you know that's way to low anyway I was screaming get the net get the net and he grabbed the net and his lure got stuck in it and he dragged my pole off the dock into the water and netted the snook I got my rod back I just thought it's hilarious the same thing happened to me a week ago

Talk about never quitting! I rewatched that hook set and net job prob 20 times and got chills every time like I could feel the hookset. Than noticed the rod was weaved in the net. Nothing else matters besides getting that fish in the net.

You two remind me of my best friend and I were fishing as teens, and this is gonna show my age, in the 90's. Same type of interactions with each other. Good memories and good times. Don't lose that connection between you two. Watching these vids makes me laugh, inspires me to keep fishing as if I'm still a kid, and it keeps me entertained. That big bass though! Love it!

I've watched that big fish hook set 1520 times in a row. Awesome video. You can tell Alex was locked on. If you watch the tip of the rod you can see the moment the fish takes it and he reacts perfect hook set. Like all bigger fish it looks like he set the hook on a log.
