We found a Place to stay in Puerto Vallarta

We came to Puerto Vallarta without knowing much about this place and with a booking at a guest house for only five nights.
The plan was to find a place for almost two months once we arrived here and had a chance to explore the area a bit.
After another search online we found a place that seemed promising, but still quite expensive from a longer term perspective. However, I had an idea.
Watch and see what we got for 400 pesos per night (about $ 32 CDN and definitely less than $ 25 US).

We sure do. It's a better place for us at the moment. Thanks, Doreen 😉

Appreciate the Mexico content, seems a lot of people in Canada are finding a way to spend a significant amount of their year over there - looks cool!

We've made it our priority for the past decade or so and it's possible if you're intentional about it. It doesn't always have to be Mexico neither, but for the past little while has been for us. Thanks for watching 😉

I noticed your seat post is not loose yet. How much for the month and a half? Good bargaining points. Jorge you can not get lost. If you never get to the ocean, turn around, if you get to the ocean, turn around, if you see snow, turn around. And no you can't move there, the ice studs on your bike are not wore out yet.

Comes to just under $ 1,500 in our money, which is a bit less in US money. We're quite happy and they landlords are nic people too.

The road/wall came down in the last hurricane that happened in September. It slowly erodes away with every heavy rain up in the mountains. They’ll get it fixed, but because of the curve it’ll happen again I’m sure. Nice video and nice music choice.

Thanks for the info. They will have to get creative on this as there are people’s homes so close. They are actually working on it.

On the other side of the bridge along the river, the first tall condo building lost their swimming pool, some foundation, and land a few years ago in a hurricane, the worked in that end of the river for quite some time.

Nice place guys. The dogs barking are how you know you're in México. Lol. That is exactly how i would have negotiated as well. Good job and enjoy!

Yes, the dogs and the roosters. We also have a lot of cats and even iguanas here. Loving it! Thanks for watching!

I'd be uncomfortable on the west coast of Mexico as their country wide construction standards are low and that is an earthquake zone, unlike the Yucatan which seldom to never have earthquakes. Also Me thinks a stop at the Re-Store to pluck an experienced toilet seat is necessary, even better bring a few! That roadway and the walking bridge expresses the state of their civil or lack of engineering standards.

I think it's more the lack of resources. The toilet seat is the least of my worries. Actually, I have very few worries here. Should I be concerned about an earthquake in the next two months? .. Nah, but thanks for bringing that up!🤔
