The ladies talking about being city or country reminded me of an experience I had at the pub in Milton, on the coast south of Sydney. I'd been staying with in-laws who ran the post office and went to the pub for a few. Anyway, I was starting yarn with some bloke and I had my slr camera with me. His mate said, "You bloody city boys come down here with your cameras and ya flash cars. You wouldn't know what being a country boy is like. " He was assuming I was from Sydney. I replied, "Mate, you live four hours from the biggest city in the country. I live an 8 hour drive to the nearest city, and two to the nearest town. Don't call me a city boy. You're more city than a council bus ."
